The start of an international break always sees things dry up for punters but there's still a handful of games today, starting with a clash between East Bengal and Mohammedan in India.

We're only a few games into the Super League campaign but it's already looking pretty grim for Mohammedan, who sit bottom after losing all four of their matches.

East Bengal have made a better start, with just one defeat from their five outings, so they're worthy favourites at home this afternoon.

East Bengal vs Mohammedan top betting tips

East Bengal flew out of the traps at the start of the season, claiming 4-1 and 3-0 wins in their first two fixtures.

Their form has dipped since then, with two draws and a defeat, but they should get back on track against rock-bottom Mohammedan.

Bet365 certainly can't see past the home win, with East Bengal 2/11 hot favourites and their visitors 12/1 outsiders.

Mohammedan were spanked 5-1 by Mohun Baghan last month but their three other defeats have been pretty narrow.

So I'm going to combine a win for East Bengal with under 3.5 goals, which pays 7/5 in a bet builder with Bet365.

Nasarawa United vs Rivers United

We're off to Nigeria for the other two games today and Premier League leaders Rivers United have a tough one on the road at Nasarawa United.

It's tight at the top, with only six points separating first from sixth after 30 games in a thrilling title race.

Rivers hold a one-point lead over Enugu Rangers and face a test of mettle as they take on fourth-place Nasarawa United this afternoon.

Their hosts haven't lost a single game at home in the league this season so that's why Bet365 make Nasarawa 7/10 favourites, with the leaders at 17/4.

Betting on a tight game looks like the smart move, given it ended in a 1-0 win for Rivers United in the reverse fixture.

Nasarawa have also won by a single goal in their last two at home so it's easy to see why under 2.5 goals is just 2/5 today.

The half-time draw looks a decent option at 10/11 with Bet365 while betting on an odd number of goals could pay off at 41/40 if the trend of 1-0 scorelines continues.

Abia Warriors vs Niger Tornadoes

Abia Warriors sit sixth in the Nigerian top flight but their title hopes are still alive as a win today could fire them to within three points of the leaders.

They have home advantage against 10th-placed Niger Tornadoes and should keep their push for glory on track.

Abia Warriors have kept clean sheets in their last three at home, winning two, and look worthy 11/20 favourites with Bet365.

Niger Tornadoes have been poor on the road of late, losing three in a row, but did beat leaders Rivers United 1-0 at home in their last outing.

Warriors have scored just three times across their last three outings at home so I'm going to combine an Abia victory with under 2.5 goals at 5/2 with Bet365.

Cannot believe Arsenal lost yesterday, especially after City got knocked out the Champions league last week. Apologies if anyone followed. Arsenal never turned up and Arteta the genius is to afraid to take the top sides on…
