Monday’s football tips: Try a shots double at 135/100 as Brighton battle Bournemouth

It's a south coast showdown for the Monday night Premier League football as AFC Bournemouth head to Brighton looking to bank three precious points.

The Cherries had gone 11 league games without a win before a leaving gift from Antoine Semenyo handed them a 3-2 victory over Spurs.

They will now be looking to climb back up the table but it won't be easy against a Seagulls side who have lost just one of their last six games in all competitions.

Brighton's home form has been hugely impressive this season and Aston Villa are the only team to emerge from the AMEX with a win.

So it's no surprise to see the Seagulls as 17/20 favourites with most firms, especially with Cherries star Semenyo now playing for Manchester City.

Andoni Iraola's men have conceded two or more goals in their last five matches so combining the home win with over 1.5 strikes could pay off at evens with Bet365.

Lazio vs Como

There's a couple of games in Serie A tonight and the pick of them sees upstarts Como head to the capital looking to take down another giant in Lazio.

Como's hopes of bagging a Champions League slot against the odds have suffered a blow in the last couple of weeks, dropping five points in successive home games with Bologna and AC Milan.

They now sit sixth and Lazio could move just three points behind Cesc Fabregas' men if they win at the Stadio Olimpico tonight.

The Roman giants have picked up a bit of form recently, losing just one of their last eight, but four of those matches have ended in draws.

It should be another tight one tonight and the half-time draw stalemate is decent at 21/20 with William Hill.

Como stopper Jacobo Ramon has been good value for cards this term, racking up six yellows and one red. He's 13/5 at Bet365 to go into the book again, which looks worth a punt based on those numbers.

Elche vs Sevilla

Fallen giants Sevilla are struggling again in La Liga and desperately need three points tonight away to Elche to climb clear of the drop zone.

After finishing in the top four for three successive seasons, Sevilla haven't even been in the top 10 for the last three campaigns.

They now sit just a few points above the drop zone and Bet365 make them 9/4 outsiders away to an Elche side sitting in midtable.

Sevilla have lost four in a row in all competitions while Elche have lost just once at home all season, a 3-1 defeat by Villarreal. So the home win could offer some value tonight at 5/4 with Bet365.

Los Rojiblancos will be fired up to end their slump so backing Sevilla cards could be a wise move. Stopper Jose Angel Carmona has picked up nine yellows this term and is 13/8 at Bet365 to get into trouble again.
