Meanwhile, Burnley remain in big relegation trouble after Saturday's 2-0 loss at Brighton extended their winless run to 11 matches, losing nine of those fixtures.
The Clarets have conceded multiple goals in four of their last six home games, and that trend looks set to continue against a Man United side that has struck twice or more in five of their last seven league games away from Old Trafford.
Newcastle vs Leeds – Both Teams to Score (Wednesday, 20:15)
Both seeking to remain on an upward curve, Newcastle and Leeds United will lock horns at St James’ Park on Wednesday night.
The Magpies have bounced back from their Boxing Day defeat to Manchester United by overcoming both Burnley and Crystal Palace.
Leeds, on the other hand, are now unbeaten in seven matches following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Man United.
That stalemate means nine of the Whites’ last 10 league games have seen both teams to score, and all the signs point towards a repeat when faced with a Newcastle side who have seen BTTS land in seven of their 10 Premier League home games this season.
