Last Player Standing is a betting competition where a group of people each put in a stake and predict one team to win in a competition each week.
If that team wins, they progress into the next round. If they draw or lose, they are eliminated.
Each team can only be picked once throughout the game. For example, if you pick Liverpool to win in week one, you cannot pick them again during that edition of Last Player Standing.
The goal is to be the final player left at the end of it all. The winner takes the full pot.
This weekend, Chelsea welcome unbeaten Hull to Stamford Bridge, Liverpool host pointless Fulham, Arsenal travel to Sunderland and Manchester City make the short trip to Old Trafford for the Manchester derby.

Chelsea will look to return to winning ways when they host Hull at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Xabi Alonso’s side collected six points from their opening two games before losing 2-1 at Arsenal. Morgan Rogers gave Chelsea the lead after 77 seconds, but Kai Havertz equalised before Martin Odegaard completed the comeback during the second half.
Chelsea’s attacking process remains strong. They are averaging 1.92 xG, 11 shots inside the box and 3.7 big chances per game. They have also scored eight goals across three fixtures, with two of those matches producing at least two Chelsea goals.
Hull arrive unbeaten after collecting seven points. Their 0-0 draw against Aston Villa extended their run to three successive clean sheets, with Sergej Jakirovic expressing satisfaction with his team’s defensive performance.
The results deserve respect, although Hull’s underlying figures point towards a difficult afternoon. They average only 0.75 xG and 3.7 shots inside the box per game. Opponents have generated 1.56 xGA and 10.7 box attempts against them.
Chelsea carry a clear advantage in possession, attacking volume and chance quality. Hull’s organisation should keep them competitive, but the hosts have the tools to apply sustained pressure and secure a third league victory.
MFT’s top Last Player Standing pick: Arsenal
Arsenal face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday night, where they will attempt to maintain their perfect Premier League start.
Mikel Arteta’s side have taken nine points from their opening three matches. They began with a 3-0 win against Coventry, defeated Aston Villa 1-0 and then recovered from an early setback to beat Chelsea 2-1.
Arsenal have won the non-penalty xG battle in every game. Their average of 1.87 xG is supported by a league-low 0.37 xGA, giving them an xG supremacy of 1.50 per match.
The champions are also restricting opponents to eight shots and three attempts inside the box per game. Two clean sheets from three fixtures reflect the control created by those defensive numbers.
Sunderland have made a competitive start and should not be dismissed. Regis Le Bris praised their first-half performance and response after Enzo Le Fee’s late penalty secured a 1-1 draw at Brentford.
The hosts average 1.55 xG and have scored in every match, but they now face the strongest defence in the division. Arsenal have conceded only one goal and 0.7 big chances per fixture.
Sunderland’s attacking output makes this a tougher assignment than the prices suggest. Arsenal’s control of chance quality, unbeaten record and ability to recover after falling behind still make them the strongest alternative to Chelsea.
