It's hard to see past Roma in Serie A on Friday night. Paulo Fonseca's side have made a good fist of things in Serie A this season and lie third in the table, five point soff pace-setters Inter.

Couple of early ones for oz in the morning, 2 games first one up sees the Sydney derby between Sydney and WSW. The away side have been underdogs for the past 4/5 years in this one but have a decent record and managed 2 wins and a draw in the 3 meetings last season. However I think that run ends tomorrow. Bobo is back for the home men, he was a huge player for Sydney 2-3 seasons ago and will probably make his 2nd debut from the bench. Can’t see it being a classic with loads of goals but I fancy the sky blues to nick a close fought game. Not often you get Sydney at close to evens just for the straight win, but that’s the case and it’s good enough for me to take as a single for my NAP.
2nd game sees a Victoria derby, Melbourne city take on western Utd. 4 meetings last season all ended with city wins and it’s not a game I can call this early in the season, both have started indifferently with a win and defeat for city, and a draw for western. What has been a factor in all 3 games both have played is corners and cards and there’s been plenty of both, so it’s back to an old favourite of mine for this match.

The Brazil game is hard to weigh up.
Sampaio are just seeing out the season having lost their last 6 games and conceding in 8 of last 10 homes.
Parana are garbage away but with 4 games to go are desperate for points to escape relegation and hopefully see this as a chance at a disinterested sampaio.
I fear a 0-0 here but hope Parana’s need for points makes them at least try to score.
