Four became just two in the Europa League for British clubs on Thursday as Spurs and Rangers bowed out of the competition.
Jose Mourinho's side threw away a 2-0 first leg lead in Zagreb to suffer an embarrassing exit while the Gers were outsmarted by Slavia in a tousy match at Ibrox. It means just Arsenal and Man Utd will fly the flag in Friday's quarter-final draw.
The Champions League draw will also be conducted on Friday so keep an eye out for that one.
On Friday night Leeds Utd travel to London to take on Fulham who are still trying to claw their way out of the relegation zone. Leeds are now just one win in six and in danger of their season fizzling out. A mid-table finish looks all but assured and a hungrier Fulham could take advantage at Craven Cottage at 8/5
Bet of the night could be on goals at Alloa where Dundee are the visitors. The Dens Park have been a massive disappointment this season. Saturday morning 🇦🇺 A league tips
2 matches tomorrow both Sydney v vs Victoria, and I’ve lined up a couple of betbuilder that should be in with a chance going by form. First up sees MacArthur take on western United, these 2 met 4 weeks ago with western running out 4-1 winners, in a match that saw 5 goals, 11 corners and 5 cards and a repeat tomorrow will do very nicely. It’s corners I’ve flagged up mainly for MacArthur games this season, they’ve kept up their run of hitting 4+ every game so far and while I think they will hit that again tomorrow I’m going for match corners for this one, as I think western will contribute as well, I’m just not sure of how many and don’t want to chance the often taken 4 apiece. As far as cards go, there should be plenty as these 2 sides sit in the bottom 3 in the crime count league but I’m happy to go with 1 apiece for this bet.
