A run of six EFL Championship games without a win has left Derby County hovering too close to the drop zone for comfort so they will be desperate to get back on track with a win over Portsmouth tonight.
The Rams made a decent start to life back in the second tier after joining Pompey in winning promotion from League One last term.
But they've only banked three points from their last six games and that has left them down in 17th place, only four points clear of the relegation places.
Portsmouth's need for a win tonight is even greater as only goal difference is keeping them out of the drop zone. So it promises to be a tense 90 minutes as both teams bid to ease their relegation fears.
Derby County vs Portsmouth top betting tips
Derby's home form will be a concern for manager Paul Warne, with his side going four games without a win at Pride Park. But Pompey haven't been great travellers, with their only away win all season coming at Queen's Park Rangers in October.
That's why BoyleSports make John Mousinho's men their 3/1 outsiders tonight, with Derby 5/6 favourites. Both meetings ended in draws last term so there could be some value backing the stalemate at 23/10. I'm going to play it a bit safer and go for the half-time draw at evens.
Six yellow cards were flashed when these sides battled out a 1-1 draw at Pride Park last term so over 42.5 booking points might be worth a punt too at 5/4 with Befred.
Livingston vs Partick Thistle top betting tips
There's Championship action in Scotland as well tonight as Livingston look to get their title bid on track with a win over in-form Partick Thistle.
The Lions have beaten and drawn with leaders Falkirk in their two head-to-heads this season but have suffered from too many stalemates against the rest of the league.
The latest came at Morton last weekend and it has left the Lions eight points adrift, albeit they have a game in hand. That means they can ill afford a slip tonight but it won't be easy against a Jags side who have gone eight undefeated in the league.
It points to another close game and the half-time draw appeals again here at 20/21 with BoyleSport while betting against BTTS pays 10/11.
Livingston are usually good value for corners and over 10.5 flag kicks looks good at 21/20 with McBookie.
Real Valladolid v Valencia top betting tips
Valencia find themselves stuck in the La Liga drop zone and it will be hard to hold out much hope for them if they lose tonight at rock-bottom Real Valladolid.
Los Che are on a miserable run that has seen them win just once in the last eight league matches but can take heart from the fact Valladolid's form is just as bad.
Their only win in the last six matches came against minnows Avila in the Copa Del Rey and even that 4-2 triumph came after the match had ended level at 90 minutes.
With both teams defending poorly we should see goals at both ends tonight and BTTS appeals at evens with BoyleSports.
The card count could rack up in this one with so much at stake and over 57.5 booking points pays 11/10 at Betfred.

Anyone on here use bet365? If yes, can you still see the acca bonus or early payout icons in the fixture lists or betslip, when putting together teams in the fulltime and btts markets? Just wondering if anyone else has this issue? Thanks
I cannot see the icons for the past 24 hours*
When you place your bets it will say if it qualifies for the early pay out or acca bonus not all Leagues are covered by 365
Tonight`s Championship game is covered for early payout
No joy with my red cards last night LOSERS
Well done all winners
Thanks mate, yeah usually the leagues i.e PL, Championship and main euro leagues are covered – its just not showing up at the moment. I have since spoken to them… “We are aware of a display issue where the acca boost and early payout isn’t showing to certain customers when applied; this is currently under review so we apologise for any confusion.”
No probs , as you say it just must be some accounts that are affected G.l.
Predict a lot of punters are about to have it taken off them.
