After returning to winning ways in Sweden on Tuesday, Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the MLS, and I’ve selected one side that I’m keen to get onside.
⚽️ New England Revolution vs Toronto FC
🇺🇸 MLS
⏰ Thursday 23 July, 00:30
New England will look to continue their strong home form as they welcome out-of-form Toronto to Gillette Stadium in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The Revs currently sit in fourth position in the Eastern Conference table, having amassed 25 points across their opening 14 matches (W8-D1-L5).
The key to their success has largely been down to their strong home form, with Marko Mitrovic’s hosts winning seven of their eight clashes in front of their supporters (W7-D0-L1), with their only defeat coming against leaders Nashville.
Toronto, on the other hand, heads to Massachusetts in the midst of a nine-game winless run (W0-D5-L4), following a goalless draw with rivals CF Montreal last week.
That point was just the fourth the Reds have collected on their travels this season (W1-D1-L4), leaving them in 12th position in the Eastern Conference table, three points outside the playoff places.

Bet of the Day
As alluded to, New England have been strong at home all season, winning seven of their eight clashes in front of their supporters, with that solitary defeat coming against leaders Nashville.
Toronto are on a nine-game winless run and don’t tend to travel too well, winning just one and losing four of their opening six away clashes this season – and I’m expecting them to suffer more away-day misery in Massachusetts in the early hours of Thursday morning.
