Falkenbergs will look to climb top of the Superettan table on Tuesday night as they welcome mid-table Helsingborgs to the Falcon Alkoholfri Arena in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Christoffer Andersson’s hosts are the joint second-highest scorers in the Superettan this term, firing in 28 goals across their opening 14 matches, with nine (32%) of them coming in front of their supporters.
Only current leaders Varberg have prevented FFF from getting on the scoresheet this season, with the hosts scoring on multiple occasions nine (64%) times – including in six of their last seven – and will be confident of adding to their impressive goal-tally against a Helsingborgs defence that has kept a solitary shutout this season, with only the bottom two shipping more than the 29 they have let in.
Stevie Grieve’s visitors have scored 26 goals across their opening 14 matches in the Swedish second tier this season, with 10 (38%) of those coming across their six road trips.
The Red Ones have found the back of the net in all bar two of their opening 14 league outings this season – scoring on multiple occasions in eight (57%) of them – and will look to breach a Falkenbergs backline that has kept just two clean sheets all season and none in their past nine.
