After making it seven winners from my last eight BOTD columns in Pennsylvania last Thursday, Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the goal-laden Norwegian second tier, and I've highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Goals look on the cards at the Haugesund Stadion on Wednesday evening as third-placed Haugesund entertain mid-table Egersunds in the Norwegian second tier.
Endre Eide’s visitors are the leading scorers in the Norwegian second tier this term, firing in an impressive 57 goals across their opening 18 matches, with 26 (46%) of them coming on home soil.
The Seagulls have found the back of the net in each of their 18 league outings since relegation from the Eliteserien – scoring 2+ goals in 15 (83%) of them – and will be confident of adding to their impressive goal-tally against an Egersunds defence that’s registered a solitary shutout across their last seven matches on the road, shipping 19 goals.
Marius Kjorvik Johansen’s visitors have scored 31 goals across their opening 18 fixtures in the Norwegian second tier this campaign, with 15 (48%) of them coming across their eight road trips.
The Tigers have found the back of the net in all eight of their road trips, scoring on multiple occasions in five (63%) of them – including in each of their previous three – and will look to keep that trend going against a Haugesund backline that’s kept just three clean sheets this term, shipping 36 goals.
