Our BTTS Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid (Wednesday, 20:00)
One of the standout fixtures from the opening round of Champions League action takes place at Anfield on Wednesday night as Liverpool entertain Atletico Madrid.
The Reds exited at the quarter-final stage last season, while Atletico went one step further before their European journey ended in the semi-finals.
Much has changed at Anfield since then, with Andoni Iraola now at the helm and the early evidence suggesting that Liverpool could be involved in plenty of high-scoring contests.
They opened their Premier League campaign with successive 2-2 draws against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest before recording a 2-0 victory away at newly promoted Ipswich last time out.
Atletico are also playing with greater attacking freedom these days and are no longer solely reliant on the stubborn defensive approach traditionally associated with Diego Simeone’s side.
A 3-1 triumph away at Sevilla and a 2-2 draw at home to Villarreal have already highlighted that shift this season, making both teams to score an appealing angle at Anfield.
Fenerbahce vs Roma (Thursday, 17:45)
An intriguing Champions League clash is on the cards in Istanbul on Thursday evening as Fenerbahce host Roma at the Chobani Stadium.
The hosts are making their first appearance in the competition proper since the 2008-09 season, while Roma are back at Europe’s top table for the first time since 2018-19.
Fenerbahce had to battle through qualifying to book their place in the league phase, eventually sealing their return with a 3-2 aggregate triumph over Lyon.
Their domestic matches have delivered plenty of goalmouth action this season, with BTTS landing in three of their opening four league games, including their weekend defeat to Besiktas.
Roma should also contribute to a lively contest after winning each of their opening three Serie A fixtures of the season, the latest of which was a dramatic 2-1 victory over Atalanta on Saturday night.
Given the early-season evidence, both teams to score looks well worth siding with in Istanbul.
Bayern Munich vs Bodo/Glimt (Thursday, 20:00)
Goals should be on the agenda in Bavaria on Thursday night as Bayern Munich welcome Bodo/Glimt to the Allianz Arena in the Champions League.
Both teams are accustomed to overpowering domestic opposition, and their attacking approach regularly produces high-scoring contests.
Bayern should have too much firepower for their Norwegian visitors, but Bodo/Glimt are more than capable of grabbing a consolation goal.
Indeed, the German champions conceded when opening their Bundesliga campaign with a thumping 5-1 victory over Stuttgart.
Both teams also found the net in 12 of Bayern’s 14 Champions League matches last season.
The same bet landed in nine of Bodo/Glimt’s 12 European outings last term, including five of their six assignments away from the Arctic Circle.
