Start vs Bodo/Glimt (Wednesday, 17:00)
Bodo/Glimt will be aiming to secure back-to-back wins in the Norwegian Eliteserien when they travel to Start on Wednesday evening.
After slumping to a 1-0 defeat against Molde, Kjetil Knutsen’s side responded in style with a 5-0 trouncing of Tromso last time out.
As for Start, they are still searching for their first win of the campaign and find themselves propping up the table.
However, despite their slow start to the season, the hosts have already been involved in plenty of high-scoring encounters.
The latest example of that came in a chaotic 6-3 defeat away at Viking last time out.
With both teams scoring in each of Start’s three home matches this season, a repeat could well be on the cards when the go up against attack-minded Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday evening.
Aalesund vs Brann (Wednesday, 19:00)
Aalesund and Brann’s Eliteserien clash on Wednesday night has all the ingredients to produce an entertaining encounter.
The hosts head into this fixture buoyed by claiming their first league win of the season at the weekend, edging past Rosenborg in a thrilling 3-2 victory.
That triumph was far from an outlier too, with goals at both ends becoming a recurring theme in Aalesund’s matches this season.
In fact, both teams have scored in six of the Orange and Blue’s eight league outings this term, including each of their four home fixtures.
Expect that trend to continue when they face a forward-thinking Brann side on Wednesday night.
There have been goals at both ends in a joint league-high seven of Brann’s nine Eliteserien matches so far this season.
KV Mechelen vs Club Brugge (Thursday, 19:30)
Seeking to wrap up another Belgian Pro League title, Club Brugge travel to KV Mechelen on Thursday night.
After being pipped to the crown by Union Saint-Gilloise last season, Club Brugge are now just one victory away from reclaiming the Belgian top-flight title.
The Blue-Black have been in excellent form down the home stretch, winning nine of their last 10 league matches.
However, it is worth noting that both teams have found the net in seven of those 10 fixtures.
With that in mind, Club Brugge may need to score multiple goals to overcome a Mechelen side still chasing European qualification.
What’s more, both teams have scored in four of the hosts’ last six league outings, the most recent of which was an action-packed 2-2 draw with Anderlecht on Sunday.
