When it comes to payments most at times it is pointless trying to share your opinion on something you are not being forced to pay. It is a free site here with lots of tips everyday. If Greg decides to move on that’s his decision and anyone who wants to pay him it’s their money and choice. No doubt plenty of others share your view but none feel entitled to voicing it especially on a free site. Like Mr F used to say if you don’t like a comment just scroll on.
My comment was only asking do you jstuhhs pay for the membership to this site, which you didn’t answer.
I personally feel the people who don’t pay for site membership get virtually the same as full members.
I think there needs to be more for members or less for free, so the site will attract more membership.
The site might be free but doesn’t run on fresh air.

I wasn’t sure what this was about so I’ve just flipped back onto yesterday’s thread to read through. Not quite sure how it escalated but I can’t but help feel a little disappointed.
I’m not interested in taking sides but I fail to see what the issue is? If Greg or anyone else chooses to move on with a new venture then what business is that of anyone else’s? I’d just wish them good luck and hope they pop into say hello every now and again.
Now, if someone was giving it the big one and using the site as a platform to ram it down your throat,that would be different but that’s not the case here is it?
Greg certainly doesn’t need me to stick up for him but some of the comments I’ve just read are uncalled for; don’t think I’ve ever seen him raise a cross word against anyone in more than 7 years and certainly haven’t seen anyone have a bad word to say about him which sums up the kind of man he is.
If you spend years investing your time into any pastime and find you are quite good at it, I think it’s a natural progression to sharing that knowledge freely then perhaps turning it into something that has a financial reward to compensate the hours spent researching every week and years spent spent honing your skills.
I think that’s to be celebrated not pulled apart in a kangaroo court or turned into a character assassination – if it’s not for you then don’t sign up or lose sleep over it.
This forum may or may not be the place to have this conversation but it certainly isn’t the time to have it.

Mr Fixit and I always equated this site with running a good old fashioned pub.
The pub is free to enter, some people come in and talk, others just to listen. Some just pop their head in from time to time to see what’s happening or to say hello. Some people are happy to pay to access private areas (VIP Members), whereas some just join to help keep the pub open.
Sometimes people need to be thrown out of the pub if they step out of line, but mostly it polices itself and the people here are good people.
Sometimes regulars will leave to set up their own private pub. Most of the time we’ll help them do so. It’s everyone’s choice whether they join those private pubs or not.
The brewers (bookies) want us to sell their beer so yes, we advertise their products and they pay us for doing so.
But the great thing is that the pub is open to all (even dugs), as long as you can behave, and MrF wouldn’t have it any other way.

ive been on this site from DAY 1, seen loads of arguments, bottom line is i think some guys take themselves too seriously at times, far far too much self praise at times.
The bottom line is whether we as individuals fancy a team to win, or pay for a tip, ultimately we are dependant on the ability of the Selections to perform, its not the ability of the guy who selected the bet

What are people on today
Re the discussions yesterday about paying for tips— when mr fixit started the pay for membership option he emailed me to invite me to join. I replied stating that I would be willing to contribute to the site costs but NEVER pay for tips. There seems to be a lot of arrogance about anyone charging for their tips, they are no different to the rest of us ! Now IF these special( ? ) folk guarantee profit — well I’m in !!

Unbelievable there’s been a COVID outbreak at Sunderland training ground so we are now without 8 first team players as the EFL wouldn’t allows us to postpone the game without sanctions despite agreeing to postpone several other games! Am I correct in thinking after the service the cortege will be stopping in Yoker en-route to Dalnotter crematorium ?

The service is at 9.30am, the crematorium isn’t until 11.30 so yes the stop off at Holm Park in between, expected to be around 10.45 atm. The finer details are still being worked on. Will update you if there’s any significant change.

Yup have to agree. my bets are downed and with that I’m taking a break from it all. Seems impossible to pick a winner lately. With the busy festive period combined with European/other cup games it’s really throwing up some odds results – not many would’ve backed West Brom to come away with a point at City!
