THERE's a full programme in the Premier League this midweek and Wolves versus Chelsea gets Matchday 13 underway at Molineux on Tuesday evening.
Both of these sides fell to 1-0 defeats last Saturday but each team will see this game as a chance to bounce back as the festive schedule begins to bite.
Last time out Wolves fell to their first Premier League home defeat in five as Aston Villa claimed West Midlands derby bragging rights courtesy of a last-gasp penalty from Anwar El Ghazi.
It's now just one win in five for Nuno Espirito Santo's side who look like a team that are sorely feeling the absence of star striker Raul Jiminez.
Chelsea themselves were undone by a penalty in their last outing as a Glyfi Sigurdsson's spot kick saw the capital club crash to a 1-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday night.
Consequently, the Blues blew the chance to go top of the table and Frank Lampard will be expecting a response from his star-studded side at Molineux on Tuesday evening.
Outright Betting
Wolves are winless in their last three matches against Chelsea and the bookies odds suggest that trend will continue after pricing the home side up at 4/1 with PaddyPower, while a point apiece pays 3/1 at UniBet.
Chelsea's 17-match unbeaten run went up in smoke at the weekend but the Blues arrive in the Black Country as big favourites at 4/6 with Bet 365.
Betting Angles
Goals have been in short supply during recent matches involving these two teams and I suspect another low-scoring affair could be in-store at Molineux on Tuesday evening.
Each of Wolves' last five top-flight fixtures on home turf have featured fewer than three goals and the under 2.5 goal play has also paid out in three of Chelsea's last four Premier League assignments.

I've already discussed my reasoning for opposing goals and over five match corners doesn't look like too much to ask for here, but it's also worth noting that Stuart Attwell has the whistle for this clash and he is averaging 5.17 cards per game this season.
Both teams are averaging over one card per game this term and given the dangerous attacking weapons that both respective managers have at their disposal there should plenty of potential for cynical fouls during this clash of styles.
With that in mind, I'll also have a play on both teams to receive over 1 card at 7/4 with Bet 365 – a combination that has clicked in four of the six Premier League matches that referee Attwell has taken charge of this season.
Finally, I'll also dip into the player card market and have a speculative punt on the 5/1 we can get with Bet 365 for Wolves' Leander Dendoncker to be carded.
