The good news… the international break is all but over. The bad news… there's another one in a month's time!

But for now we can start to look ahead to the return of domestic action this weekend and beyond that the start of the group stages in the Champions League, Europa League and first ever Europa Conference League next midweek.

South American qualifiers are all that remain in World Qualifying this week and we've got two late games covered for tonight. Both Uruguay v Ecuador and Argentina v Bolivia are live on Premier Sports and Tolu has offered his thoughts on how they'll pan out including his best bets.

They're two of a handful of late-night matches which also see Brazil in action, agains Peru, after the fiasco of earlier in the week when their match with Argentina was abandoned after barely kicking-off.

All five home sides are favourites to win; Paraguay (4/7), Uruguay (4/5), Colombia (3/4), Argentina (1/12) and Brazil (3/10) and a fivefold pays just under 6/1 at Bet365.

Our team are already filing their match previews for the weekend's matches so keep an eye for more being added to the site throughout the day to help you get a head start.

On the golfing front, the Ryder Cup is only a matter of weeks away and like the rest of us The Caddy cannot wait. He's been in top form in recent weeks, largely thanks to identifying the right time to get on board with Patrick Cantlay who has won the last two PGA tournaments.

On the calendar this week is one of The Caddy's favourite tournaments of the season, the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. It looks a fairly open field but our main has nailed his colours to the mast with three picks at 30/1, 40/1 and 50/1. Don't miss his best bets here.

Mkhitaryan to score and Armenia to win – 21/20 ✖️

    Iceland 20+ booking points
    Poland 20+ booking points
    2/1 double ✅

Happy with the double but the single should have came through easy after he scored his penalty right on half time. No bets today, might have a look at tomorrow but gonna post an early one for the weekend.

    Arsenal to win
    Rangers to win
    Double 1.3/1

Bit of bias in these bets but I think this is good value for what it is. Norwich have actually had an even harder first 3 games than arsenal so no surprise they have 0 points so far. Arsenal can’t afford anything other than a win here, they need points on the table and can’t afford to still be sitting bottom after this game. Norwich have had a really difficult first few games so it’s harsh to judge them off that but I still feel a home game v Norwich is the best Arteta could have asked for when needing a win.

Rangers are at McDiarmid Park to face a difficult St Johnstone team. However, Europe might have had some affect on their league performances with 3 draws and a loss from their first 4 games and just 1 goal scored. They will be weakened by the departures of McCann and Kerr and Rangers should be able to take advantage of that. Rangers to win to nil at odds against is appealing to be honest and might go for that as a single as well.

    Premier League tips (Saturday)
    Crystal Palace v Spurs
    Spurs to win at 10/11
Won’t be an easy game for Spurs but they should edge it at a fair price.

    Arsenal v Norwich
    Norwich double chance at 6/4
I can’t take Arsenal to win a game of subbuteo never mind a game of football they have been beaten by their main rivals Spurs and Chelsea and add to that Brentford .Norwich on the other hand have had a tougher start to there stint in the Prem being beaten by English powerhouse Liverpool and Man City results you would expect.Norwich will see this game as a game they can get a result as Arsenal are in free fall and if they don’t sort out playing out from the back (which Norwich will have certainly done their homework on)then another bad result could be on the cards, personally i think this game will be a draw for two sides in the same boat.

    Leicester v Man City
Leicester City to win at 5/1 Back this at b365 and if they go 2 up then you get paid out regardless of the final result.
Leicester haven’t lit the league up with their start to the Premier League but they know how to rustle City’s feathers i fully expect them to sit in and make life difficult for City and hit them on the counter,i just can’t see City been at it after a long break and for me an ideal time to be facing them.

    Man Utd v Newcastle
    Over 3.5 goals at 11/10
    Over 4.5 goals at 5/2
    Over 5.5 goals at 5/1
This could be a high scoring affair Newcastle are decimated by injuries and of course there’s the return of Ronaldo so scoring shouldn’t be a problem.United have acted out of desperation with the re-signing of Ronaldo once cited as the best player in the world for me though it will always be Messi but will United win anything with the new addition for me in short the answer is no.To win things like the League and Champions league you need heart in the club something United seem to have lost over the years they should be renamed Man Utd pensioners.

    Chelsea v Aston Villa
Aston Villa + 1.5 Asian Handicap at 1.990
Chelsea will be without new signing Lukaku and Pulisic,Kante,Thiago Silva for this game.
Best of luck if you follow anything keep stakes sensible as it’s the EPL and coming back from Internationals strange thing s happen!!

No joy for me last night and on a limited card it looks like Costa Rican corners may offer a glimmer of value:

    GUANACASTECA VS. HEREDIANO (9.00pm)

Herediano’s corner counts have died down from a few years ago but are still consistently hitting double figures in more games than not. The hosts I’m not as familiar with but their own counts are certainly hitting the same very regularly!

    OVER 9.5 CORNERS
    (8/11, bet365) NAP ⭐⭐⭐

    OVER 10.5 CORNERS
    (6/5, bet365) NB ⭐⭐

    OVER 13.5 CORNERS
    (5/1, bet365) LONGSHOT ⭐

    Best of luck!

Early one for Saturday as noticed the prices starting to drop even from last night.

Dumbarton are a hard one to read at the minute, with a lot of their team having been signed this season , and their win last week was pretty surprising to a more in form Montrose. Goals seem to follow them recently though, with 9 out their last 10 games going over , and I always keep an eye out for when they play East Fife because for some reason through the seasons it seems to be one of those phenomenons of a game which produces plenty goals. All 3 games last season went overs with 9 goals, the season before that all overs with 16 goals, the season previous to that all overs with 14 goals. It goes back further and I believe there’s been 3 games between them in ten years to go under. More of the same on Saturday would be perfect. East fife have scored in 4 out their 5 opening fixtures, and conceded in 4 out of the 5 too with 3 going overs.

Paksi are one of my go to teams around Europe for goals in that they deliver quite consistently in high scoring affairs. Since the restart of the season all 5 of their games have went over , with 25 goals in total. Last season they out-scored every team in the league which includes European regulars ferencvaros, and conceded the 3rd highest number of goals, with one of the teams conceding more being relegated. MTK are a decent outfit but their form is up and down, BTTS has landed in 4 out their first 5 fixtures, with their last 3 going overs against teams who don’t score or concede like Paksi do.

    Over 2.5mgs double @ 9/5 (bet365)
    Dumbarton vs East fife
    Paksi vs MTK

    Small stakes / same games
    Over 3.5mgs double @ 6.1/1 (bet365)

Apologies for the lengthy write up, let’s hope it’s worth it 😅🤞

    Campeanato acreano 11pm ko.
    San Francisco v galvez.

    BTTS 7-4 @betfair sportsbook.
***Can’t see odds anywhere else for this game***

Galvez beat these 7-0 at home last year but they have a league play off at the weekend and are safely in the top 4 in this comp and will progress to the next stage .
Galvez 3 away games seen btts and overs in this year’s comp.
Not sure if galvez will risk players in this nonsensical competition.

San Francisco have played 7 home games including last season and 6 have seen btts with 5 of them BTTS and overs.

*** San Francisco played leaders acreano at home last week and lost 2-1.
This is the only goal acreano have conceded in their 7 games ***

If I find a team to score market later I will be on a home goal as odds should be decent.

Just had my first look at the weekends fixtures. A quick glance and having a small dabble on the following get just cos I don’t think the odds should be this high.

    Levante v Vallecano
Both teams to receive 2 cards
    Over 2 match goals

The betbuilder is 5/1. Rojas is referee which is why you can get 2/1 for both teams to get 2 cards. He’s lenient in Spanish standards but I’m not having any la liga competitive game at 2/1 for the cards bet.

Over 2.5 goals has came in in 4/5 head to heads. Levante play some lovely football ard Vallecano will be confident after their 4-0 win before international weekend.

Not much research behind it. More of a price play.

Radu are you around pal ?

Wondering what your thoughts are on the price of Alaphilippe to win the tour of britain ?

Before yesterday’s stage he was 3/1 then went out to 16/1 after yesterday’s and is now 20/1 after todays.

Seems massively overpriced to me when you look at the times.

    ****NFL Thursday****

no rugby league or football tonight but we do have the return of the NFL where super bowl champs tampa Bay host the Dallas Cowboys.

dallas have a couple of injury concerns coming into this game most notably amazing Cooper and dak Prescott the star wide receiver and quarter back. dallas need all their weapons firing to get anything at Tampa so they could struggle tonight. They potentially have a couple of offensive linemen missing too so protecting a hobbled Prescott could prove difficult which could lead to a blow out…

tampa on the other side have retained all their major weapons from last year, Dallas don’t have the secondary to keep Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown quiet not to mention the trio of tight ends including star of last years supercool Rob Gronkowski.

    main bets

    tampa -9.5 @ 10/11
    Mike Evans over 64.5 yards
    Antonio Brown anytime 13/8

long shot Mike Evans first td @ 16/1
