ENGLAND have battled their way through to a second successive European Championships final but the bookies reckon slick Spain will get their hands on the trophy.
Gareth Southgate's men were tournament favourites before a ball was kicked but they haven't been playing like champions and lady luck has been smiling on them.
The performance against the Netherlands in the semi-final was probably their best so far yet Betfred still make the Three Lions 11/10 outsiders to lift the trophy.
Spain are just 8/11 in the same market and that's probably because they've swept aside the likes of Italy, Croatia, Germany and France on their march to the final.
However, most of Southgate's squad can call on the experience of losing the Euro 2020 showpiece to Italy on penalties while some of Spain's bright young things are gracing a final for the first time.
That could make England the smart call to come out on top at odds-against in what looks like a 50/50 clash for me.

Although the Spanish have been playing much better football than England so far, there's not much between these squads if England's big guns perform at their peak.
That makes me think this could be a tight final, with the half-time draw paying 9/10 at Betfair and the full-time stalemate at 15/8.
Bukayo Saka has been a big threat down the right flank for England and Chelsea's Marc Cucurella will be tasked with keeping him quiet tonight. He's prone to diving into tackles so looks worth a punt for a card at 11/4.
There's some decent prices in the shots market too, with Phil Foden 10/11 for one or more shots on target and the same bet paying 6/5 for Spain midielder Fabian Ruiz.
For a long-odds option, Betfred are offering 11/2 on any player scoring direct from a free-kick.
Argentina v Colombia Top Tips
The Copa America also comes to a conclusion in the early hours of Monday morning and the clash between Argentina and Colombia should be a cracker.
Defending champions Argentina have conceded just once in the whole tournament but their defence will be tested by a Colomnbian side who have netted 12 times so far.
This is a repeat of the 2021 semi-final, which the Argentines won on penalties after a 1-1 draw. I wouldn't be surprised if this was similarly close and the half-time draw pays 9/10, with a stalemate at 90 minutes priced 9/5.
Colombia had to play the whole second half with 10 men in their semi-final with Uruguay and that game saw heaps of cards dished out.
Things could get spicy again in the showpiece and combining BTTS with each team getting over 19.5 booking points pays 7/4 at Betfred.
I also like the 5/4 they offer on each half having over 3.5 corners.
