Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Napoli vs. Lazio (11:30am)
Napoli’s inconsistent performances continued last weekend when they lost 2-0 to Juventus. Nearly a third into the season, Napoli still do not have back-to-back wins on either front.
Undefeated league leaders Lazio arrive following another stellar performance against Cagliari, and look like a team that doesn’t plan to lose any time soon.
The Eagles have had their best performances away from home this season, where they have seen incredible support from their fans, who are boycotting the team's home matches. Considering that they won their last four trips to Naples since 2023, I will back them here again.
Napoli vs. Lazio top betting tip: Lazio to win
Genoa vs. AC Milan (2pm)
Genoa welcome AC Milan after securing three consecutive wins and climbing to 11th place on 13 points. More notably, the Grifone kept two clean sheets in the process, including against Juventus.
Fifth-placed AC Milan sit on 21 points and bounced back in style last weekend with a 3-1 Derby della Madonnina victory over Inter. The Rossoneri have had their way in recent years against Genoa, last losing against them in 2020.
But the hosts have improved a lot under Daniele De Rossi, and are unbeaten in their last five home matches. Considering that AC Milan had a very busy week, I believe BTTS and a Draw make a lot of sense.
Genoa vs. AC Milan top betting tip: BTTS, Draw
Monza vs. Atalanta (2pm)
The hosts possess one of the leakiest backlines in Serie A, conceding 24 goals in 10 matches at an average of 2.4 per game. But interestingly, they also rank among the highest-scoring teams.
Atalanta have nearly identical stats when it comes to goals, which points me towards the goal markets in this fixture. La Dea simply cannot find the right formula for success, and I believe Monza will have more than enough chances to score.
I think both standard markets make sense, and I will go for the higher odds by combining BTTS and Over 2.5.
Monza vs. Atalanta top betting tip: BTTS, Over 2.5 goals
Inter Milan vs. Como (5pm)
Inter sit on 25 points with 26 goals scored, but they enter the match seeking a quick response after losing 3-1 to rivals AC Milan last Saturday.
Cesc Fabregas’s Como are the league's most in-form side alongside Lazio, entering this match on the back of four consecutive Serie A victories and a record 9-1 away win in the Champions League midweek.
Como boast one of the stingiest defences in Italy with just eight goals conceded, and with the obvious improvement in the final third, I believe they will give Inter a hard time again.
Inter Milan vs. Como top betting tip: BTTS
Fiorentina vs. Juventus (7:45pm)
Fiorentina claimed a rare win away at Sassuolo on Monday, but their defence remains suspect with 23 league goals conceded already this term.
Juventus hold the league’s second-best defensive record, but have scored the fewest goals out of all teams in the upper half of the table.
Right now, I see them as too inconsistent to be worth a straight bet, but the draw no bet could be worth a shot.
