Sunday’s football schedule features six fixtures to conclude Matchday 10 in Ligue 1, with the action headlined by second-placed Lille travelling to fifth-placed Rennes.
Among the rest, Marseille and Lyon face difficult trips, while Monaco aim to bounce back at Le Mans following their worst run of form since the start of the season.

Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions
Rennes vs. Lille (2pm)
Rennes sit fifth in Ligue 1 on 16 points after falling to a heavy 5-2 defeat away at Nice last weekend. Despite that wobble, Rennes have won four of their five home league matches this season.
Second-placed Lille arrive on 18 points and boast the league's best defensive record, conceding just six goals in nine games. Lille edged rivals Lens 1-0 in their last league outing.
Rennes have struggled in this fixture recently, losing three of the last four H2Hs. Based on the current form of the two sides, and Lille’s tight defence, I believe a double chance bet is a strong shout.
Rennes vs. Lille top betting tip: Draw or Lille
Angers vs. Nice (4:15pm)
The hosts have found goals hard to come by lately, failing to score in their last two league matches. Overall, only two sides have scored fewer goals than they have since the start of the season.
Nice occupy eighth place on 14 points, just three shy of the top four, and have hit blistering attacking form, scoring 2+ goals in four of their last five league games. More importantly, they won all four of those matches too.
Given that Angers also have one of the leakiest defences, taking a straight Nice away win or backing Nice to score over 1.5 goals makes extra sense.
Angers vs. Nice top betting tip: Nice to win
Brest vs. Lyon (4:15pm)
Inconsistent is the word that best describes both Lyon and Brest in recent weeks, although the Kids sit just three points behind the league leaders, and Brest are in the bottom half of the table.
The main positive is that Lyon have the second-best defence in the league, which could make the difference against a Brest side that has improved in the final third.
Lyon did not win any of their last three Ligue 1 away games, but they faced the league’s finest in them. This is their opportunity to improve their stats.
Brest vs. Lyon top betting tip: Lyon Draw No Bet
Le Havre vs. Lorient (4:15pm)
Le Havre remain rooted to the bottom of the table in 18th place on just two points, remaining the only side in Ligue 1 without a win (D2, L7).
The hosts have conceded 20 goals this season and arrive on the back of consecutive defeats against Marseille (4-3) and PSG (5-1).
Lorient sit 12th on 12 points and are much more compact, conceding fewer than one goal per match on average. You can’t put too much confidence in them, but this is a huge opportunity for three easy points.
Le Havre vs. Lorient top betting tip: Lorient Draw No Bet
Le Mans vs. Monaco (4:15pm)
Monaco now sit seventh on 15 points and urgently need a result after failing to win their last four league fixtures, including a 3-1 defeat at Paris FC last Sunday.
Considering that newly promoted Le Mans are second to last and have won just once in nine rounds, this is the exact type of opportunity that Monaco needed.
Despite the recent dip, they possess superior attacking firepower and have only lost twice all campaign. Le Mans have leaked goals consistently against top-half opposition and generally conceded two goals per match on average.
Le Mans vs. Monaco top betting tip: Monaco to win
Lens vs. Marseille (7:45pm)
The Blood and Gold were edged 1-0 by Lille in the Derby du Nord last Friday, but they remain strong at home, having beaten both Lyon and Paris FC 2-1 in their last two home matches.
Marseille sit sixth on 15 points, boasting an attack that has netted 20 league goals—the joint-second-highest in the division. Following one of their worst season starts, the visitors now sit on four consecutive league wins.
Also worth noting, Lens were destroyed 9-1 by Como in the UCL midweek, and this could have a negative impact. I believe Marseille will take advantage of that and claim a rare away win at Lens.
