French football fans will have to wait until the end of the day, as all Ligue 1 matches will be played at the same time. What makes this special, however, is that we have a full eight matches to look forward to on Sunday.
The battle for a Champions League spot is entering its final phase, but the main focus will once again be on the title race, especially if PSG slip up in their match.
Don’t miss a single opportunity that Ligue 1 has to offer, with our expert tips and predictions for all eight matches.
Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions
Angers vs. Strasbourg (8pm)
Angers need just one point to secure their place in Ligue 1 for another season, while Strasbourg have nothing left to play for following their latest loss.
The Blue and Whites, however, will likely be fired up after their elimination in the Conference League semifinals and will come out hungry for a win.
The first match between the two teams this season ended 5-0 in favor of Strasbourg. We expect them to do the double against Angers.
Angers vs. Strasbourg top betting tip: Strasbourg to win
Auxerre vs. Nice (8pm)
In our opinion, this will be one of the most exciting matches of this round, given that Auxerre and Nice are neck and neck in the standings, and the winner will all but secure their place in the league.
Auxerre’s form has improved at just the right moment, and the team has scored 2+ goals in three consecutive matches, which is impressive given their overall performance this season.
Nice still have issues in attack, but they’ve improved significantly on defense. We generally like the idea of a 1-1 draw, but we’ll stick with just the draw because a 0-0 result is entirely possible in such a crucial match.
Auxerre vs. Nice top betting tip: Draw
Le Havre vs. Marseille (8pm)
Le Havre’s fifth consecutive draw set a new league record for the team, but this leaves them in danger of relegation, although a win would solve their problems.
Marseille are in worse form and need the points to avoid missing out on European competition next year. However, they have lost six of their last eight away league games, and things don’t look promising.
That’s exactly why we expect to see at least one goal from both teams here. Le Havre have improved in attack and should be able to score.

Metz vs. Lorient (8pm)
Metz are officially the first team to be relegated from Ligue 1, and they now face a familiar opponent from the lower division—one that has, however, achieved far greater success since returning to the top flight.
Consequently, neither team has anything to play for other than ending the season on a positive note. Although there is a huge gap between them this season, we can’t help but recall their many H2Hs in recent years.
Eight of the last 10 H2Hs have featured goals at both ends. We expect at least that again, given the lack of pressure in this match.

Monaco vs. Lille (8pm)
Excluding the PSG match, this game carries the most weight on Sunday’s schedule, as Lille and Monaco are locked in a battle for a Champions League spot.
Both teams are in good form, but their matches and styles of play differ significantly. Monaco have defensive issues but score plenty of goals. Lille are phenomenal defensively, but rarely score more than one goal.
This is definitely the hardest match to predict, and with so many others to choose from, we could even afford to skip it. However, we like the idea of under 2.5 goals as a single bet, especially at the current 13/10 odds available at most bookmakers.
Monaco vs. Lille top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals
PSG vs. Brest (8pm)
Although fatigue has certainly set in at PSG, a win here is a must if they want to take a huge step toward the title.
Brest are in a deep slump, winless in six straight matches, conceding 2+ goals in five of them. Considering that their last victory over PSG was way back in 1985, they are unlikely to be very optimistic about this match.
Luis Enrique will likely field some reserves, but PSG shouldn’t have any trouble winning this match. The odds are quite low for most standard markets, so we’ll take a slight risk on a clean sheet for the Parisians.

Rennes vs. Paris FC (8pm)
Paris FC are finishing the season in fine form and will certainly be aiming to secure a top-half finish. Rennes, however, are in the race for the Champions League and cannot afford any slip-ups.
It’s impressive, though, just how many goals the team from the capital has been scoring lately, and we’ve known for a long time that Rennes can be phenomenal on the attack.
That’s why we plan to bet on both teams to score here, expecting both sides to find the net. There is certainly value in backing a Rennes win, but in our opinion, it’s too risky given the visitors’ form.

Toulouse vs. Lyon (8pm)
Lyon have finally returned to winning ways, and another victory will likely secure their third-place finish in the league. They’ve won four straight matches, and convincingly, with plenty of goals.
Toulouse have nothing to play for except finishing as high as possible, but they’re far from being in such good form. What they have in common with Lyon, however, are high-scoring matches, as each of Toulouse’s last six games has featured at least three goals.
We expect a very entertaining clash with goals at both ends, just like a few months ago in their first matchup.
