Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions

Nice vs. Monaco (2pm)

Both sides had difficult assignments at the Coupe de France midweek, with Nice moving forward and Monaco getting eliminated. Now, the teams head into Round 21 with the same idea – to try and revive their top flight season.

Both sides have struggled defensively, and their attacks haven’t been able to compensate. Monaco are a few steps closer to Europe but need a convincing win streak to even stand a chance.

The last four H2Hs all produced over 2.5 goals and featured goals on both ends. With the two teams being in desperate need of points, we can expect a goal-packed clash once more.

Nice vs. Monaco top betting tip: BTTS & Over 2.5 goals

Angers vs. Toulouse (4:15pm)

After securing their first win of 2026 last week, Angers host a Toulouse side that’s not looked this strong since 2012. The Violets are a point away from Europe, and lost only one of their last 10 competitive fixtures. For contrast, they won eight of those 10.

The teams already met in January at an earlier stage of the Coupe de France, when Toulouse won on penalties. However, they were the better team on the pitch, and we expect them to win in regulation this time.

We wouldn’t gamble on a goal-packed clash, but there is shocking value in Toulouse’s odds.

Angers vs. Toulouse top betting tip: Toulouse to win

Auxerre vs. Paris FC (4:15pm)

While the season is far from over, Auxerre are getting closer and closer to relegation with each passing round. With 14 goals scored in 20 rounds, the Diplomats have not yet won a game in 2026, while also failing to score in their last four.

Paris FC have been far more impressive and remain at a safe distance from the relegation zone after several impressive rounds. Not to mention they eliminated PSG from the Coupe de France a month ago.

While Auxerre are clearly not good enough for the top flight, they will be desperate for points, and we see this match going nowhere.

Le Havre vs. Strasbourg (4:15pm)

Le Havre have climbed high enough to feel safe for the time being, but they have much to prove in the coming rounds. Their next assignment is particularly difficult, as Strasbourg will be out for blood.

Rennes’ failure on Saturday has left the door open for Strasbourg to enter the top six, but the Blue and Whites have had problems on the road this season.

However, they crushed Le Havre 3-0 last year at this venue, and the fact they scored 2+ goals in four of their last five games gives us confidence.

Le Havre vs. Strasbourg top betting tip: Over 1.5 Strasbourg goals

PSG vs. Marseille (7:45pm)

What a way to end the weekend, as PSG host Marseille in the third Classique of the season. The Olympians claimed the three points in September, while PSG beat them 3-2 in the Super Cup in January.

In other words, both sides have proven capable of beating the other this year. At the same time, both teams have not been as consistent lately, making this an incredibly difficult fixture to predict.

Backing the champions would be the safe bet, but we would rather opt for BTTS after the recent encounter for the Super Cup.
