After kicking off their campaign with a surprise 1-1 draw with Al-Hilal, Real Madrid made light work of both Pachuca and RB Salzburg to ensure that they took top spot in Group H.
Meanwhile, Juventus had to settle for second place in Group G after finding themselves on the wrong end of a 5-2 thrashing from Man City on matchday three.
Vinicius Junior 1+ Shot on Target
Vinicius Junior was the star of the show during Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over RB Salzburg last time out, scoring one and setting up another of his side’s three goals. Thus, the Brazilian ace should come into this last 16 showdown brimming with confidence.
Vinicius registered two on-target efforts against Salzburg last Friday, and I’m more than happy to get the Bet Builder underway by him backing to hit the target at least once here.
The Real Madrid superstar averaged 1.12 shots on target per game in La Liga this season, attempting a sizable 3.32 shots per 90.
Given that Juventus conceded a whopping 28 shots on target across their three group games, the aforementioned Vinicius looks a prime candidate to work goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio at least once on Tuesday night.

Sticking with the aforementioned Vinicius Junior, I’ll also include him to earn his team a minimum of one foul. The 24-year-old tends to find himself on the receiving end of some rough treatment from Real Madrid’s opponents. That is evidenced by the fact Vinicius has drawn a combined total of six fouls across his last two outings at the Club World Cup, including five against Pachuca on matchday two of the group stage.
The Real Madrid forward was also being brought down on a regular basis domestically this season, drawing an average of 2.8 fouls per 90 in La Liga.
Weston McKennie to Commit 1+ Foul
For the third and final leg of the Bet Builder, I’m taking Weston McKennie to commit a minimum of one foul. The US midfielder started each of Juventus’ three group stage matches, committing one foul in each of those respective contests, one of which resulted in him being shown a yellow card. The all-action Juventus midfielder should have his hands full again in the knockout round when he comes up against star-studded Real Madrid.
What’s more, McKennie was also a frequent offender in Serie A this season, committing an average of 1.25 fouls per game across his 32 appearances for the Turin giants.
