Arsenal vs Manchester United (Sunday, 16:30)

Arsenal and Manchester United will renew hostilities when the pair face off at the Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's hosts will be looking to get their title charge back on track following a pair of goalless draws with Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will aim to build on last week's 2-0 win over Man City, a dream start for Michael Carrick in the Old Trafford dugout.

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal come into this clash as firm odds-on favourites with most bookmakers, with a Gunners success trading around 4/7.

However, my focus is on a player-based selection that offers value given recent form and statistical trends.

Bryan Mbeumo can be backed at 22/25 (UniBet) to register two or more shots during this heavyweight clash, and that holds plenty of appeal.

Mbeumo has been one of Manchester United’s standout performers this season, and he is a player who needs no invitation to try his luck in front of goal at any opportunity.

That is underlined by the fact he is averaging a sizeable 2.75 shots per game in this season’s Premier League.

Closer inspection shows the Cameroon international has registered multiple efforts on goal in 14 of his 17 top-flight appearances this term.

The case for this selection becomes even stronger when considering that Mbeumo has taken three or more shots in five of his last six league games.

It’s also worth noting that the 26-year-old fired off five shots when Manchester United hosted Arsenal in this season’s reverse fixture.

With all that in mind, Mbeumo looks too big to ignore to deliver another two shots in North London on Sunday at an eye-catching 22/25 with UniBet.
