On the other hand, Manchester City will be aiming to leapfrog Arsenal and move to the top of the table, even if just for a few hours.
Unsurprisingly, Manchester City are heavy favourites for Saturday’s lunchtime showdown, so instead of focusing on the 1×2 market, I’m turning my attention to a player-based bet.
Erling Haaland can be backed at 10/11 with both Paddy Power and Sky Bet to be fouled once or more during this contest, and that holds plenty of appeal.
The Manchester City goal machine is well known for his incredible goalscoring record, but he’s also pretty effective at winning free-kicks.
Haaland is drawing an average of 0.68 fouls per game in this season’s Premier League, but he has proven particularly reliable at earning his team set-pieces away from home.
In fact, the City sharpshooter has been fouled in seven of his eight top-flight appearances on the road this season, including each of his last seven.
It's also worth noting that Haaland was brought down twice in Man City’s 2-1 victory away at Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this month.
With Haaland likely to come up against Nottingham Forest’s centre-back duo of Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic, this selection becomes even more attractive.
The Forest defensive duo are committing an average of 1.08 and 0.48 fouls per game respectively in this season’s Premier League.
Taking everything into account, Haaland represents excellent value at just below even money to be fouled once or more at the City Ground on Saturday.
