After delivering another winning selection in the early hours of this morning, SlipsTips shares a Bet Builder ahead of France's clash with Senegal at the World Cup on Tuesday night.

France vs Senegal, Tuesday (20:00)

France begin their latest quest for World Cup glory when they meet Senegal at MetLife Stadium on Tuesday night.

After lifting the trophy in 2018, Didier Deschamps’ side came agonisingly close to retaining it when losing on penalties to Argentina in the final four years ago.

As for Senegal, they will be looking to build on another strong World Cup showing after reaching the knockout stages in the last edition.

France To Score

For the first leg of the bet builder, I’m backing France to score at least once. Didier Deschamps has one of the strongest attacking squads in the tournament, led by Kylian Mbappe.

Moreover, France have been scoring goals for fun for a number of years now, finding the net at least twice in each of their last 15 matches across all competitions.

That doesn’t bode well for a Senegal side who failed to keep a clean sheet against Gambia in a World Cup warm-up before losing 3-2 to the USA last month.

Michael Olise 2+ shots

For the first of two player-based selections, I'm backing Michael Olise to attempt two or more shots. The Frenchman comes into the World Cup as arguably his nation’s standout performer domestically last season, scoring 22 goals for Bayern Munich. Olise likes to pull the trigger at every opportunity, which is reflected in the fact he averaged 2.75 shots per game during World Cup qualification, firing multiple efforts in four of his five outings.

His domestic numbers also back that up, with eye-catching averages of 3.97 shots per game in the Bundesliga and 3.74 in the Champions League last season.

Ismaila Sarr To Be Fouled 1+ Time

The final selection is Ismaila Sarr to be fouled once or more. The Senegal forward’s pace and dribbling ability mean he often attracts plenty of close attention from his direct markers.

Across his last three outings for the Lions of Teranga, Sarr has drawn an average of 1.58 fouls per game, while he also won three set pieces at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations despite only featuring in three matches.

He is also a player who tends to get targeted at club level with Crystal Palace. That was the case last season when he drew 1.69 fouls per game in the Premier League, being brought down at least once in 10 of his final 14 appearances of the campaign.

Sarr could come up against France’s Theo Hernandez, who averaged just under one foul per game in the Saudi Pro League last season.

These three selections combine to produce an even-money bet builder that looks like good value.
