Hull vs Manchester United (12:30)

The MKM Stadium hosts the first of Saturday's Premier League fixtures as Hull City welcome Manchester United.

Tip 1: Manchester United Win & Bruno Fernandes To Score or Assist
Bruno Fernandes set a new Premier League assist record last season after setting up 21 goals. Backing Manchester United to win alongside Fernandes to score or assist makes for an eye-catching 5/6 double on bet365.
Tip 2: Matt Crooks To Commit 2+ Fouls
Matt Crooks averaged 2.14 fouls per game in the Championship last season, making the Hull midfielder a value option to be penalised two or more times here at 6/5 on bet365.
Tip 3: Harry Maguire To Be Fouled 1+ Time
Harry Maguire looks worth backing to be fouled at least once at 8/11 on bet365.
The Manchester United defender was reliable when it came to winning free-kicks last season, drawing an average of 0.87 fouls per 90 in the Premier League.
He is likely to come up against Hull's Oli McBurnie, who plays with plenty of physicality, highlighted by the fact he committed 1.54 fouls per game in the Championship last term.
Everton vs Crystal Palace (15:00)

Everton host Crystal Palace at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off at 3pm. David Moyes begins his second full season at Everton's new home against a Palace side starting life under Pierre Sage following a disruptive summer.

Tip 1: Everton to win
Palace's disrupted preparation provides the main betting angle, with Sage admitting his side are not ready for the start of the season. He explained that only two or three likely starters had been available throughout pre-season without injury, leaving limited time to introduce a new system and coaching structure.
Sage has also confirmed Palace need another centre-back following Lacroix's departure, preferably one with Premier League experience. They therefore arrive with an incomplete squad and a defensive unit weakened in the position their new manager has identified as a priority.
The underlying numbers do not provide a straightforward case for opposing Palace. Their away xG ratio of 0.52 was better than Everton's home figure of 0.46, while their 1.36 away xG and 1.28 xGA also compare favourably. The question is how much weight those figures still carry after the departures of their head coach, director of football and first-choice centre-back.
Everton's recruitment has been more settled and focused on weaknesses identified by last season's data. They begin at home with an established manager and familiar structure, while Palace arrive with a new coaching team, an incomplete defence and a head coach who believes they are not ready.
The bet is Everton to win at 6/5, implying a 45.4% chance. The selection rests on the difference in preparation and stability between the clubs rather than last season's raw numbers alone.
Tip 2: Both sides carded & under 3 goals
Tip 3: Everton to score over 1.5 goals
Ipswich Town vs Sunderland (15:00)

Portman Road will host Ipswich Town and Sunderland on Saturday, with kick-off at 3pm. Ipswich begin their first season back in the Premier League after winning promotion from the Championship, while Sunderland look to build on a seventh-place finish that exceeded most expectations.

Tip 1: Over 2.5 goals
Ipswich's Championship numbers show a side that created chances consistently and rarely failed to score at Portman Road. Their 1.91 home xG was supported by a failed-to-score rate of only 9.1%, although their defensive record was produced at a lower level and has not been tested against Premier League attacks.
Sunderland's away data creates a different concern. Le Bris' side conceded an average of 1.54 xGA on the road, kept clean sheets in only four of 19 matches and finished well ahead of their season-long xPTS. Their defence has not received significant investment despite those weaknesses, while European football places greater demands on the squad.
The fixture also gives Ipswich a clear incentive to attack. This is their first home game following promotion, with Manchester United away and Liverpool at home next on the schedule. Sunderland's own away weakness makes this the most favourable of Ipswich's opening three fixtures.
There are still risks to the goals selection because Ipswich kept clean sheets in 40.9% of their Championship home games and Sunderland failed to score in 42% of their Premier League away fixtures. The change in level, Ipswich's attacking recruitment and Sunderland's defensive numbers provide enough evidence to expect a more open contest.
The bet is over 2.5 goals at 1/1, implying a 50% chance. Ipswich should approach the game positively in front of a full Portman Road, while Sunderland's away defensive record gives the hosts a strong chance of scoring more than once.
Tip 2: O'Shea over 0.5 shots
Tip 3: Ipswich win
Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United (15:00)

Nottingham Forest flirted with relegation on a rollercoaster ride last season but will be hoping for more stability in the new Premier League campaign, which gets underway with a visit from Leeds United.

Tip 1: Morgan Gibbs-White goal or assist
Morgan Gibbs-White will be fresh and fired up for Nottingham Forest after missing out on a place in England's World Cup squad. The playmaker is 6/5 with Bet365 for a goal or assist and that looks decent value.
Tip 2: BTTS and over 2.5 goals
We should see goals in this game, based on the two meetings last term, even though Nottingham Forest are now under new management.
Leeds ground out a 0-0 draw with Glasner's Palace side in London last term but Farke's men won 4-1 when they faced the Eagles at Elland Road. So I'm going to combine BTTS and over 2.5 goals in this one, which pays 6/5 with Bet365.
Tip 3: Dominic Calvert-Lewin to be fouled two or more times
Dominic Calvert-Lewin should lead the line for Leeds and I like the 5/4 on offer for the striker to be fouled two or more times.
Brentford vs Tottenham (17:30)

Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur will kick off their respective Premier League campaigns in an all-London clash at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday evening.

Tip 1: Both Teams to Score & Both Teams to Receive a Card
Combining both teams to score with both teams to receive a card will engineer an eye-catching even-money (1/1) shot on bet365.
This Bet Builder would have proven profitable in five of the last eight Premier League meetings between the pair.
Tip 2: Igor Thiago To Commit 2+ Fouls
Igor Thiago enjoyed a mightily impressive campaign in front of goal for Brentford last season, but he was also a regular when it came to committing fouls, averaging 2.01 per game. The Brazilian therefore looks good value to commit at least two fouls here at 10/11 on bet365.
Tip 3: Mateus Fernandes 1+ Shot on Target
Mateus Fernandes hit the target in eight of his final 18 appearances for West Ham last season, making 12/5 on bet365 look a big price for him to work the Brentford goalkeeper at least once in this capital clash.
