Saturday’s football tips: Go for corners at 11/8 as Liverpool look to push on against Brighton

Liverpool hit form again in the Champions League on Wednesday night and they'll now be looking to build some Premier League momentum, starting with today's trip to Brighton.

Arne Slot's side clicked into gear as they thrashed Galatasaray 4-0 in midweek but should find things more tricky against the in-form Seagulls.

Fabian Hurzeler's men have won three of their last four in the Premier League and another victory today would leave them just six points behind the champions.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Liverpool top betting tips

Brighton lost 3-0 at Anfield in the FA Cup last month but they've tightened up since then, shipping just two goals in four matches.

Liverpool had been struggling for goals before that Euro stroll in midweek so I'm going for under 2.5 strikes in this one at 6/5 with Betway.

We saw 12 corners in that FA Cup tie last month, with seven of them going to Brighton. That makes over 4.5 Seagulls flag kicks appealing at 17/20 with BetMGM while over 10.5 match corners offers better value at 11/8 with Unibet.

Everton vs Chelsea

It hasn't been a good week for Liam Rosenior as his Chelsea side followed up a 1-0 loss to Newcastle with another pasting by PSG in the Champions League.

Plenty of fans are starting to question the wisdom of appointing such an inexperienced coach and Rosenior now has to pit his wits against one of the most venerable managers in the Premier League.

David Moyes continues to do a great job in his second coming at Everton and they were unlucky not to get a point away to leaders Arsenal last weekend.

That makes me think the Toffees could get a bit of joy against a Chelsea side in poor form and they're 6/5 at William Hill to win either half.

Defence continues to be the biggest issue for Rosenior so combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals also looks good at 11/10 with Coral.

Rangers vs Aberdeen

The three-way title fight in the SPFL Premiership looks set to go right down to the wire and Rangers should bank three more precious points when they host Aberdeen today.

The Ibrox side remain third heading into the latest round of fixtures but they're just a point behind Celtic and three adrift of leaders Hearts.

Aberdeen are in terrible form, with one win in their last nine games, but should improve now that Stephen Robinson has taken charge.

He had a good record against Rangers in his time with St Mirren and has lost just one of his last five games against the blue half of Glasgow.

But he has inherited a poor Dons team so I fancy the home win with under 3.5 goals this evening at 5/4 with Coral.

New boy Dennis Geiger likes a tackle and has picked up two yellows and a red in just seven outings for Aberdeen. He's 14/5 with BetMGM to go into the book again.
