Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions

Strasbourg vs. Nice (4pm)

It’s not too late for Strasbourg to surprise everyone and get back in the race for European qualification, and they currently trail Monaco by six points. Their problem stems from their struggles in attack and the high number of draws. Le Racing had four consecutive draws in the league before their recent victory over Nantes.

Nice have been alternating wins and losses, but at least they have a temporary cushion of five points above the relegation zone. However, their main problems lie in away matches, where they concede an average of two goals per game.

We believe Strasbourg will capitalize on the opportunity, and Nice likely won’t even score a goal. An important fact is that Strasbourg are one of the three teams with the fewest goals conceded at home.

Strasbourg vs. Nice top betting tip: Strasbourg to win, Strasbourg to keep a clean sheet

Brest vs. Rennes (6pm)

This is a very interesting matchup for many reasons. First, let’s highlight Brest’s home form.

No matter what happens on the road, Brest dominates at home. They have six wins in their last seven home games, keeping a clean sheet in five of them. This is a key point because Rennes often struggles on the road. For example, they’ve lost three of their last five away games, conceding 3+ goals.

Every recent H2H has been extremely competitive, including a memorable 5-4 affair two years ago. There’s a certain amount of risk involved, but we’re going to try a Both Teams to Score bet.

Lille vs. Lens (8:05pm)

This is the kind of match that can decide a season. With a win, Lille can climb to third place, while a loss could knock them out of the top six.

If Lens wins, they’ll stay in the title race. If they lose, their title hopes are likely over. Lens won the first meeting of the season, but prior to that, they hadn’t beaten Lille since 2022.

And right now, Lille are one of the two teams in the best form in the league. We don’t think it’s a good idea to pick a winner here, so we’ll go with Both Teams to Score again.
