ARSENAL remain maddeningly inconsistent under Mikel Arteta and this clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers will give us a better idea of whether the Gunners are ready to mount a sustained push for a top-four Premier League finish.
It was a frustrating January transfer window for Arteta as the club missed out on sealing deals for top targets such as Dusan Vlahovic and Alexander Isaak. The Gunners boss actually ended up with a weaker squad with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Callum Chambers and Ashley Maitland-Niles among 13 players leaving the Emirates.
That has left the fans a bit underwhelmed but Arsenal still have a decent first XI and a win at Molineux would rekindle hopes of landing an unlikely Champions League slot.
However, Wolves are one of the Premier League's form teams, with four wins in their last five leaving them in eighth place, just two points adrift of the Gunners.

Players to watch
Raul Jimenez started on the bench against Norwich in the Cup but I'd expect the Mexican to be returned to the starting line up for this one. He has two goals in his last three games for club and county and is 5/2 at Betway for anytime scorer here.
Arsenal drew four successive blanks before the brief winter break and need to find a spark on their return to action. Bukayo Saka can be the one to provide that inspiration and the winger is 21/5 at SBK for a goal. McBookie also price him at 15/4 for an assist.

Wolverhampton Wanderers haven't been high scorers and it's a testament to their defence that they are sitting so pretty in the table despite netting just 19 times in 21 games.
