TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR play host to Manchester City in a mouthwatering FA Cup fourth round tie on Friday night.
The two teams are separated by just three points and three places in the Premier League table and have already played out a 3-3 thriller this season, in a game that brought up my recommended bet.
Spurs secured their place in the fourth round with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Burnley, with Pedro Porro's pearler proving to be the difference in the end.
Last time out, Ange Postecoglou's side twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Man City, meanwhile, staged a stunning second-half comeback to claim top honours in 3-2 victory at Newcastle in their last Premier League outing.
The current holders of the FA Cup set up this blockbuster clash with a 5-0 hammering of Huddersfield in the third round.

Tottenham have been reinvigorated under Ange Postecoglou’s tutorship, with the attack-minded Aussie swiftly implementing a proactive brand of football that is producing results.
That is evidenced by the fact that Tottenham have scored in every one of their 21 Premier League games this season and they are certainly capable of landing a blow against a Man City side with just five clean sheets in 20 league outings this term.
However, the capital club are also susceptible to conceding goals, with Spurs shipping at least one goal in 16 of their 21 top-flight outings this season, which doesn’t bode well ahead of a visit from star-studded City.
In fact, Tottenham’s high-octane approach can be attributed to the fact that a league-high 16 of their 21 matches in the Premier League this season have seen each team oblige in a fixture featuring over 2.5 goals.
One of those fixtures was the aforementioned 3-3 draw with Man City at the Etihad, so with all things considered, backing both teams to combine for three or more strikes seems like a sensible solution at 5/6 (Bet 365).

Whilst Spurs have been standard-frequency corner performers this season, they did rack up eight flag kicks when they visited Man City last month so they look worthy of interest to earn just half of that figure here at 10/11 (Bet 365).
