Real Sociedad will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten record in Group D of the UEFA Champions League as they host Salzburg on Wednesday. Sociedad have been in good form lately and should have the upper hand over the Austrians, who have found things difficult on their recent travels.
It has been an impressive Champions League campaign for Real Sociedad, who have already secured a round of 16 place with two games to spare. They are yet to taste defeat in Group D, picking up three wins and a draw from four matches.

A slight problem for Salzburg ahead if Wednesday’s clash is a dodgy record on their recent travels. Gerhard Struber’s men have claimed just one win from their last five away matches and were beaten 2-1 by Inter Milan in their previous Champions League fixture on the road.

Mikel Oyarzabal has been the man in form for Real Sociedad in recent weeks, scoring four goals in the last six matches. The forward has also found the net twice in the last three Champions League and is priced at 8/5 by bet365 to maintain his scoring run.
Salzburg can also hold their own going forward and Karim Konate will be the one to watch on Wednesday. The striker has three goals in the last four matches and is priced at 21/4 by Unibet to get on the score sheet.
