The new and improved Juventus travel to Arena Garibaldi, where relegation-threatened Pisa will try to end the year on a high and revive their chances of surviving this campaign.
Does a 2-2 draw count as an improvement when you’ve lost three in a row without scoring a goal? Pisa have won a single Serie A game this season and their stats are horrible from every angle.
The Towers have the second-worst attack in the league with 12 goals in 16 rounds, but it gets even worse when you look at their stats at home. Pisa have scored a single goal across their eight home games in the league.
The only positive is that they almost don’t concede either. Only two teams have played better defensively on home turf, and Pisa have conceded just five times.
Juventus are on the right path but need more consistency on the road. There is no better opportunity to start a win streak than an away match against newly-promoted and relegation-threatened Pisa.
Luciano Spalletti’s side is a point away from the Top 4 after a shaky season start, and coming off back-to-back wins against Bologna and title contenders Roma.
How the bookies view it: Huge away advantage
The bookmakers are not giving Pisa any chance of a break, once again putting them in a difficult position with the odds. It would be a miracle if we saw Pisa as the favourite even once this season.
Currently, you can back Pisa at 13/2, the draw at 7/2, or Juventus at 9/20.
Recent head-to-head: A rivalry restart 35 years later
Pisa had not appeared in Serie A for decades and, accordingly, had not faced Juventus in an official match for just as long. The only two meetings between these teams date back to the 1990/91 season, when the Old Lady won both times, 4-2 and 5-1.
Players to watch: Yildiz is pushing Juventus forward
After a phenomenal 2024/2025 campaign, Kenan Yildiz took a huge step forward and has been sensational in the new season. No other Juventus player comes close to his number of goal involvements in all competitions.
The 21-year-old Turkish winger has 13 goal contributions across 22 fixtures this season, including three goals and an assist across his last three Serie A appearances.
Keep in mind that backing goalscorers against Pisa is a huge risk, but if someone can break through their watertight defence, it certainly is Yildiz.

Juventus’ away games have been quite uneventful this season and we rarely see more than a goal or two. At the same time, Pisa have not yet had an over at home, and we have actually never seen an average of 0.8 goals across eight fixtures before.
We can’t expect something different, although Juventus have not exactly been flawless on the road this season. We plan to back a clean sheet for the Old Lady, and probably a combined market like Juventus & Under 3.5 goals.
