MANCHESTER CITY will be targeting a seventh straight victory in the Premier League when they entertain Chelsea at the Etihad on Saturday evening.

That latest league victory kept City on the coattails of Liverpool, though the Reds will have the chance to lay down the gauntlet to their title rivals when they head to Brentford on Saturday lunchtime.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have now won their last two away matches but it's going to be a very tall order for them to make it a hat-trick of road wins this weekend.

Manchester City are lowly 1/3 with Bet 365 favourites to make it 12 wins on the spin across all competitions.
The reverse fixture ended all square but a repeat here is an unfancied 9/2 (PaddyPower) while a Chelsea success is also deemed unlikely at 15/2 (PaddyPower).
Betting Angles
Finding a way to make Man City pay is rarely a straightforward task but backing the hosts to prevail and Erling Haaland to get on the scoresheet holds plenty of appeal here at 20/23 on Bet 365.
As already alluded, City have some serious momentum right now and they should have too much firepower for a Chelsea team that remains a work in progress.
Whilst the Blues have bagged noteworthy away wins at Crystal Palace and Aston Villa in their last two outings, prior to that they were on the wrong end of a pair of 4-1 and 4-2 pastings from both Liverpool and Wolves respectively.
What’s more, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have failed to shutout their opponents in 15 of their last 17 Premier League matches, which doesn’t augur well ahead of a trip to the Etihad.
As such, I’m happy to get the hosts onside here, but to boost the price up to 20/23 (Bet 365), I’ll also back Erling Haaland to hit the back of the net.
