Bournemouth vs Leeds

, KO: 15:00 , Vitality Stadium
Leeds

Bournemouth will be targeting a third straight Premier League win when Leeds visit the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Cherries gave new manager Marco Rose his first top-flight victory at the sixth attempt with a 2-0 win over Sunderland in their last home game.

They followed that up with an impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United last weekend, lifting them to 13th in the table and three points above the relegation zone.

Having also beaten AC Milan 3-0 at home in the Europa League last week, Rose’s side are beginning to build some serious momentum after brushing aside Aston Villa by the same scoreline in the EFL Cup in midweek.

As for Leeds, their impressive start to the season has faded somewhat, with the Whites now winless in four Premier League matches.

Daniel Farke’s side played out a drab 0-0 draw away at Sunderland last time out, bringing up my recommended Bet Builder in the process.

How the bookies view it: Cherries set for sweet success

Bournemouth are 21/20 favourites with bet365 to claim another three points at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

A Leeds triumph is trading at 5/2, while a share of the spoils on the south coast is priced at 12/5.

Head to head: History against the hosts

Leeds have had the upper hand in this fixture, winning 11 of their 17 meetings with Bournemouth, with the Cherries claiming just two victories and the other four games ending all square. One of those draws was a 2-2 stalemate at the Vitality last season, and a repeat of that scoreline is priced at a whopping 14/1 with bet365.

Players to watch: Adams angle offers value

Tyler Adams has committed at least two fouls in four of his last six Premier League appearances for Bournemouth, so he looks decent value to do so again here at 5/6 with bet365.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin brings plenty of aggression to the Leeds attack and has committed multiple fouls in three of their four Premier League away games this season. At 5/4 with bet365, he looks too big to ignore to be penalised at least twice again on Saturday.

Predicted line-ups

Bournemouth remain without Alex Scott, Julian Araujo and Alex Toth through injury, while Veljko Milosavljevic is a doubt.

As for Leeds, Joe Rodon and Mateo Joseph remain sidelined through injury, while Anton Stach and Daniel James are touch and go. In better news, Nico Elvedi is expected to return to the starting XI after missing last week’s stalemate with Sunderland through illness.

Bournemouth: Petrovic; Smith, Hill, Silva, Truffert; Adams, Cook; Rayan, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson

Leeds: Trafford; Justin, Elvedi, Muharemovic; Bogle, Tanaka, Ampadu, Aaronson, Gudmundsson; Okafor, Calvert-Lewin

Anything else catch the eye?

The 4/5 on bet365 for over 3.5 cards in this clash looks well worth considering.

Bournemouth have been the most ill-disciplined side in the Premier League this season, with six of their opening eight top-flight games featuring at least four bookings.

Leeds have also seen four or more bookings in five of their eight league games this term, adding weight to the case for 4+ cards to be flashed at the Vitality.
