Brighton & Hove Albion will be looking to maintain their fine start to the season as they welcome Bournemouth to the Amex Stadium on Saturday. The Cherries are still trying to find their best form and should be no match for a confident Brighton side.
Brighton claimed a 3-1 victory at Manchester United in their previous Premier League fixture. They were the better side throughout the contest and raced to a three goal lead through Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro before the hosts pulled one back.
That was the fourth victory in five Premier League matches for Brighton who are once again battling near the top end of the table. Although they suffered a 3-2 home defeat by AEK Athens in the Europa League on Thursday, manager Roberto De Zerbi will still consider it an overall solid start to the season.
One of the more impressive things about Brighton’s campaign is their attacking displays, having scored at least two goals in five of their six matches across all competitions. However, they remain suspect at the back and are yet to keep a single clean sheet this season.

Bournemouth’s unfortunate start to the season is an extension of their poor end to the previous campaign. They are now winless in their last nine Premier League matches, suffering six defeats in that run.

Bournemouth have a 12-10 advantage with eight draws from 30 previous matches against Brighton. However, the Seagulls did the double over their rivals last season, picking up a 1-0 victory at the Amex Stadium before earning a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture back in April.
Players to watch
Brighton have multiple goal threats but Evan Ferguson could be worth keeping an eye on having scored four goals in five Premier League appearances. The striker was also on target in the last meeting with Bournemouth and is priced at 21/20 by bet365 to find the net.
Dominic Solanke often leads the line for Bournemouth and has scored two goals in five matches this season. William Hill has the striker at odds of 17/5 to find the net on Sunday.
