BRENTORD will look to continue their push for a European place when they play host to Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
After having their remarkable 12-game unbeaten league run brought to an end at Everton last weekend, the Bees bounced back with a 2-0 win at Southampton in midweek.
That St Mary's success has taken Thomas Frank's team up to eighth in the table where they sit just a point behind 6th-placed Liverpool and 7th-placed Brighton.
Now, back on home turf this weekend, Brentford will look to continue their climb up the standings by claiming top honours against Leicester.
The Foxes relegation fears have heightened following a run of four consecutive losses, the most recent of which was a 3-1 defeat at home to Chelsea.
As a consequence, only goal difference is now separating Brendan Rodgers' side ahead of their trip to the Brentford Community Stadium this weekend.
Outright Betting
Brentford, who have lost just one of their 13 Premier League home matches this season, enter this contest as even-money (Betfred) favourites.
Leicester City have fallen to defeat in four of their last five top-flight road trips and the bookies' odds suggest that it could be more away day blues in the capital, with the Foxes 3/1 (Spreadex) outsiders while the draw is an unfancied 13/5 (Bet 365).

Brentford are worthy favourites here but I'm going to bypass the 1×2 market and instead side with Both Teams to Score at 4/5 with SBK.
While the Bees are having a season to remember, they have failed to keep their sheets clean in 17 of their 26 Premier League matches this season, with BTTS backers being rewarded on 14 of those occasions.
It's also worth pointing out that each team has obliged in seven of Leicester's 13 road games so far, not to mention the visitors have scored in 25 of their last 30 Premier League away games
As such, Thomas Frank's team could find it tricky to tame a Leicester team that possess an attacking armoury filled with goal-threatening talent.
However, the Bees carry plenty of attacking threat of their own and they should expect to breach a Leicester backline that have leaked 46 goals in across their 26 Premier League outings this season so far.
With all that in mind, as well as the fact that these two teams played out a 2-2 thriller at the King Power back in August, backing each team to oblige in west London looks worth taking on at 4/5 (SBK).
After netting his 16the league goal of the season at Southampton Wednesday night, I'll also back Brentford's Ivan Toney to make the net bulge at 11/8 (Bet 365).
Only Erling Haaland and Harry Kane have scored more Premier League goals than Toney this term, and the Bees talisman will be quietly confident of adding to his goal haul when faced with a Foxes side that are far from watertight.
