An entertaining English Championship encounter should be in store when QPR play host to Norwich on New Year’s Day.
Both teams will be looking to bounce back from midweek defeats, with QPR losing 2-1 away at West Brom, while Norwich went down 1-0 at home to Watford.

Seeking to make it four league wins in succession, Watford will welcome Birmingham to Vicarage Road on New Year’s Day.
The Hornets have moved into a play-off position as a result of their current winning run, with their most recent victory a 1-0 success away at Norwich.
Meanwhile, Birmingham are now without a win in six English Championship matches following Monday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton.
There have been goals at both ends in nine of Watford’s 12 league games at home this season, and that trend looks set to continue against a Blues side that have seen BTTS in nine of their last 10 Championship games.
Sheffield United To Score 2+ (New Year’s Day, 17:30)
Both bidding to build on their midweek victories, Sheffield United and Leicester City will lock horns on New Year’s Day.
The hosts bounced back from a 5-3 loss away at Wrexham on Boxing Day by battling to a 2-1 win away at Stoke on Monday night.
As for Leicester, they won by the same scoreline last time out when edging past Derby.
Sheffield United have scored two or more goals in seven of their last nine English Championship matches, and on current form, they look well placed to fire twice against the Foxes.
Brentford To Score 1+ (New Year’s Day, 20:00)
Brentford will be looking to maintain their impressive Premier League home form when they face London rivals Tottenham on New Year’s Day.
Keith Andrews’ side have collected 20 of their 26 points at the Gtech Stadium this season, most recently claiming an emphatic 4-1 win over Bournemouth.
The Bees have scored at least once in eight of their nine league games at home this season, so they will fancy their chances of finding the net against a shaky Tottenham side.
That is underlined by the fact that Spurs have shipped multiple goals in three of their last four Premier League away games.
