WITH the major European leagues shutting down for the summer, the focus switches to Scandinavia and there's a couple of games in Sweden for punters to sink their teeth into today.
Fallen giants Gothenburg find themselves just above the drop zone after 10 games but they can jump up to 10th place with a win on the road at AIK Solna this evening.
Gothenburg have collected four points from their last two games while AIK have lost three on the spin to slide down the table after flying out of the traps with three wins and two draws in their first five matches.
With just three points separating these sides it should be a close game but Gothenburg will be looking to keep their revival going.

AIK Solna vs IFK Gothenburg Top Betting Tips
Despite their recent slump, AIK Solna are favourites for a win tonight at evens while Gothenburg look a little overpriced at 5/2.
Goals have been guaranteed with AIK of late as four of their last five games have seen at least four strikes. That makes over 2.5 goals appealing at 21/20, although Gothenburg's recent outings have been more drab affairs.
Cypriot forward Ioannis Pittas has started the season well for AIK and boasts five goals from 10 outings. He's 7/4 for anytime scorer today and that looks pretty good value.
IFK Norrkoping vs IFK Varnamo Betting Tips
The other game in Sweden today also involves sides stuck in the wrong half of the table as third-bottom IFK Norrkoping host an IFK Varnamo side sitting above them only on goal difference.
While Norrkoping have collected just a point from their last four games, Varnamo have banked seven points in the same run of fixtures to move out of the drop zone.
So I'm surprised to see them as 12/5 outsiders tonight, even though 19/20 favourites Norrkoping have home advantage.
The last four Varnamo games have seen the corner count hit double digits so over 10 corners looks decent at 10/11. Backing over five first-half corners gets you above evens at 13/10.
VPS Vaasa vs Inter Turku Top Tips
There's also action in Finland tonight and VPS Vaasa have the chance to move level on points with leaders KuPS as they host Inter Turku.
With Inter sitting third bottom after a run of four successive defeats, the home win looks pretty good value tonight at 9/10.
The Turku defenders have been turkeys of late, conceding three times in their last two outings. So try combining a VPS win with over 1.5 to boost the odds to 13/10.
Backing the home side to be winning at half-time also looks worth a punt at 6/4 with Inter Turku trailing at the break in their last three games.

Wouldn’t put anyone off taking the current Asian goal lines in the 4 deild Icelandic games for a bit of interest. They could all easily see another 2/3 goals.
