Monday’s football tips: Atletico 21/20 to see off tired Real Betis in La Liga

It's pretty slim pickings for punters today but there's a decent game in Spain as Real Betis host Atletico Madrid.

Atletico's recent revival ground to a halt with a thrashing by Arsenal in the Champions League so they'll be desperate to bounce back on domestic duty.

But it won't be easy against a Betis side who have lost just once in 12 games this season in all competitions.

Real Betis were also in European action in midweek, drawing 0-0 away to Genk in the Europa League, and they've had two games fewer to rest up than Atletico.

That could give Diego Simeone's men the edge and BoyleSports make them 21/20 favourites, which is still a decent price given Atletico haven't lost in the league since the opening day.

Real Betis' Belgian blank was their first of the season so we should see a few goals tonight, with BTTS and over 2.5 strikes also priced at 21/20.

Atletico stopper Robin Le Normand has collected five cards already this season so the 9/4 on offer at BOYLE Sports for him to go in the book again looks decent value.

Moreirense vs Porto

Porto are another team looking to recover after a poor European result when they travel to Moreirense in Portugal's top flight.

The Dragons lost their roar against Nottingham Forest in the Europa League on Thursday as they slumped to their first defeat this season.

But they've racked up sevens wins and a draw in their domestic league and BOYLE Sports make them 1/3 hot favourites for another victory today.

Moreirense are no mugs though and they've also made a strong start, with five wins out of eight. All four home games have ended in wins so they could get some joy if Porto are a bit weary after that loss in England.

Backing BTTS looks decent value at 6/5, with Moreirense's only blank all season coming away to champions Sporting Lisbon.

Porto should have most of the pressure and backing them at -3 in the corner handicap pays 10/11 at Bet365.

Port Vale vs Stockport County

There's one game in the EFL tonight as Port Vale host Stockport in League One.

Port Vale find themselves sitting fourth bottom while County are fourth top after an impressive start to the season.

Stockport are on a six-game unbeaten run in League One, winning three in a row, so they look well worth a punt at 13/8 with BOYLE Sports.

Port Vale have only lost twice in their last eight in all competitions though, so it should be a tight game.

The half-time draw has come up in the last five games for Port Vale so that looks a decent option tonight at 20/21 with BOYLE Sports.
