We will use a unit system for our stakes, allowing readers to set their own unit value that suits their own budget. For the sake of simplicity, for us, 1 unit = £1.

We will continue to transparently track our progress as far as we go on the path to 1,000, but will refresh our main tracking stake back to the starting point every time we surpass 100 units – a 10x ROI.

For the sake of consistency, all tips are placed using odds from bet365. It worth pointing out that with Bet365 we can paid out if our selection goes into a lead by two or more goals.

Great to get back to winning ways on Tuesday night as both Middlesbrough and Bradford did the business for us.

Bet 3 – Sheffield Wednesday vs Southampton – Saturday 28th February 3:00pm

Sheffield Wednesday host Southampton in the Championship on Saturday at Hillsborough with the contrast in form and performance levels clear.

Wednesday have lost their last 11 games and are without a win in 28. They have failed to score in 10 of their last 12. Across the last eight matches they are averaging 0.49 xG and 1.60 xGA, returning 3.8 xPTS and zero points.

They have created only two big chances and conceded nine in that spell. In the last four at home they have posted 0.63 NP xG and allowed 1.60 NP xGA, conceding 10.3 shots in the box per game and five big chances.

Southampton arrive on a W5-D3-L0 run. Over the last eight they have averaged 1.79 xG and 0.95 xGA with 15.0 xPTS, creating 11 big chances. In the last four away they have produced 1.60 NP xG and restricted opponents to 1.04 NP xGA, averaging 8.3 shots in the box.

With Wednesday struggling for goals and Saints unbeaten in eight, the performance gap supports an away win.

  • Bet: Southampton to win
  • Odds: 3/10
  • 19.32 units to return 25.11
