Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

Airdrie looked doomed for relegation from the Scottish Championship after a disastrous start to the season, but they are one of the form teams in Scottish football and they can get the better of Queen's Park in a real six-pointer.

The Diamonds had managed to achieve just one league win up until the middle of November and parted company with Danny Lennon after a very short spell in charge.

His successor, Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, is only caretaker boss at the moment, but what a job he's done.

They've won five of their last six games in all competitions, including away wins at Ross County and Morton in the league.

Airdrie and Queen's Park are eighth and ninth in the table, but you have to think that surely Ross County will finally improve and start rising the table with the players they have after they sacked Tony Docherty this week.

So Airdrie will have targeted three points at evens against the Lesser Hampden side who have won just once on their travels all season and can get the job done at evens with McBookie.com

Stranraer vs Dumbarton preview

Stranraer are another side bang in form and they can see off Dumbarton at 21/20 with McBookue.com at Stair Park.

They also struggled at the start of the season, but have now lost just once in their last dozen games in all competitions.

Stranraer have actually won five games in a row, including a highly impressive 3-0 win at high-flying Spartans and seem to have plenty of depth to their squad after a host of signings this season.

Last week, they became one of the few teams to win at Borough Briggs when they beat Elgin City and they are flying.

Dumbarton are under new management and Frank McKeown got off to a flier last week when they defeated East Kilbride at home.

But previously they had lost five in a row and also crashed to an incredible 9-0 defeat at home to Inverness this week in the Challenge Cup and you have to think a confident Stranraer will get the job done.

St Mirren vs Livingston prediction

There are plenty of big games this weekend in the top flight, including a potential blockbuster in Gorgie.

But on Saturday, as long as St Mirren haven't spent the week over-celebrating, they look a solid price at 5/6 to beat bottom side Livingston in Paisley.

The Saints famously won the Premier Sports Cup on Sunday when they blew Wilfried Nancy's new-look Celtic away at Hampden.

But their league form has been a real disappointment this season and if they want a fourth season in a row in the top six, they simply have to be putting teams like Livi away.

They beat Dundee United in their last home game and 5/6 is a good price at McBookie.com
