Last Player Standing is a betting competition where a group of people each put in a stake and predict one team to win in a competition each week.
If that team wins, they progress into the next round. If they draw or lose, they are eliminated.
Each team can only be picked once throughout the game. For example, if you pick Liverpool to win in week one, you cannot pick them again during that edition of Last Player Standing.
The goal is to be the final player left at the end of it all. The winner takes the full pot.
This weekend, Chelsea make the short journey to the Gtech to take on Brentford, winless duo Spurs and Aston Villa meet in North London, Arsenal face a tricky trip to the AMEX to take on Brighton, and Manchester City welcome Sunderland to the Etihad.

The Black Cats tend to do most of their best work at home – picking just a point from their opening two trips away at newly-promoted Ipswich Town and Brentford – and I’d expect City to prove to be too strong for Sunderland.

Nottingham Forest will look to extend their unbeaten run to four matches as they welcome rock-bottom Coventry City to the City Ground on Saturday Night Football.
Nottingham Forest began the campaign with a 0-1 defeat at home to Leeds United, but followed that up with back-to-back draws away to Liverpool and at home to Spurs.
Oliver Glasner would then get his first Premier League win as Forest boss last weekend at Villa Park, as they clinched a late 1-2 victory away at Aston Villa.
The Tricky Trees will be confident of following that victory up against a Coventry City side that has had a tough start to their long-awaited return to the Premier League.
Frank Lampard’s side have lost each of their opening four Premier League fixtures this season, failing to score in each of those defeats, shipping 10 goals.
