Once again, some strange jockey decisions played a big part in both horses' results at Punchestown.

The rider on Keep On Dreaming, I am willing to ignore, as he comes from the PTP background, and you take your own chance when backing horses in those races. He looked like he was riding a bull, but in fairness, the horse didn't look happy over the banks.

As for Harry Cobden, I'm starting to lose my mind with him. He's gone from being one of the most consistent guys in the UK weighing room to being dreadful. Khrisma might not have won the race if she had got a clear passage, but I'd love to have found out.

Cobden had her buried on the inside, which is fine, but the horse he was following was an outsider. Once that horse started to go backwards, it caused a huge problem and interfered with Khrisma around the bend. By that point, the race was over, and she was 15L behind the leaders and 10L behind the winner. She made up some good ground to finish fourth, but it could've been different.

The Good Biscuit 7/4 (1pt) – Pontefract 3.58

Even though The Good Biscuit wasn't an odds-on shot when the market opened, he was still a lot shorter than I thought he was going to be. He has drifted out to a true price, and I think he is the one to beat.

He is an exposed sprinter, but it looks like he could still improve a little more, based on his first run of the season. He was third at Catterick, but ran to a solid RPR of 82, which is 5lbs more than his current mark. Warren Fentiman is back in the saddle for today, and he removes a further 3lbs, so based on that, a repeat performance from last time out should be enough to win.

He stayed on towards the finish at Catterick, and given that he has won at Pontefract a couple of times, I think the stiff track should play to his strengths a lot better.

The ground shouldn't be an issue, and the yard has started the new season off in good form.

Depending on whether the horse drifts overnight/morning, there could be another one to be added.
