Saturday's Lucky 15 bet produced two winning selections and two losing selections, with the two shorter-priced horses getting the job done in nice style. With that said, the bet itself returned at a loss, returning roughly £10 from a £15 total stake based on a £1 straight win lucky 15.

Sunday's card, as expected, isn't as good as Saturday's, but there are a few nice races on offer, and hopefully we can find a few winning selections.

Datsalrightcharlie 2/1 – Huntington 12.10

Similar to the Tizzard yard, Jamie Snowden has his string in fantastic nick at present, operating at a 42% SR in the last 14 days, producing 8 winners from 19 runners.

I like the chances of his runner Datsalrightcharlie, who contests in the opener at Huntingdon on Sunday. He is very much unexposed over this sort of distance, having finished third over it on handicap debut last month. With further improvement likely and with a handy 6lb claimer on board in Isabelle Ryder, I think he can run a big race.

Draco Malfoy 2/1 – Huntington 12.42

The standard set by those with hurdle experience is hardly outstanding, and I think if Draco Malfoy can jump to an average standard, then he has every chance of getting of the mark over obstacles.

Kim Bailey and Mat Nicholls are another yard in good form at present, operating at a 36% S/R in the last 14 days, producing 5 winners from their last 14 runners.

Although my selection has yet to run over hurdles, he showed some decent ability at this very same course on the flat and if he's drilled well to jump at the first time of asking, then he might just have enough speed on the flat to get the job done.

Saint Sam 7/4 – Huntingdon 3.00

The 3.00 at Huntingdon looks like the best race of the day in my opinion, and I'm willing to take on the short-priced favourite in Djelo with Saint Sam, who Willie Mullins sends over, with jockey Harry Cobden booked to take the ride.

Don't get me wrong, I respect Djelo and his chances of justifying favouritism as he is the class act in this field, but I think if Harry Cobden can pop Saint Sam out in front, which is very much likely, then he could be a tough nut to catch if getting into a rhythm. My selection was last seen chasing home Found A Fifty in a Grade 2 contest at Fairyhouse. I caught a replay of that particular race, and if it wasn't for a blunder at the last, Saint Sam would have come home in front. Nonetheless, it was still a good run, and a repeat performance will see him go close.

Found A Fifty 7/2 – Cork 2.50

I'm going to keep this last one short and sweet. If the short-priced favourite in Majbourough jumps well, I think he wins with no issues, but he has had kinks in his armour in that department in the past. For that reason alone, I'm going to take him on with the Gordon Elliot-trained Found A Fifty.

Gordon Elliot is flying this season, and Found A Fifty looks the clear value play to upset the applecart. He has race fitness on his side also, having seen off Dinoblue last time out over 2m at Navan, and he is a solid enough operator at this sort of level.
