Friday’s football tips: Try a 6/5 corners bet as Nice bid to see off St Etienne and stay in Ligue 1

It's half-time in the Ligue 1 play-off final and Nice now have home advantage as they bid to see off Saint-Etienne and stay in the top flight.

The first leg was a damp squib earlier this week as the teams battled out a 0-0 draw, which was good news for me after I bet against goals.

There should be more thrills tonight as the tie comes to a conclusion and Nice are 4/9 favourites to finish the job on their own patch.

Nice vs Saint-Etienne top betting tips

There's not much value in backing Nice at just 4/9 but the odds do increase to evens at AK Bets if you back them to come out on top inside 90 minutes.

Nice haven't won at home since early February but they've also lost just twice in their last 12 at the Allianz Riviera so I fancy them to edge this with so much at stake.

We saw 12 corners in the first leg, with both sides winning six, so backing over 10 flag kicks could pay off at 11/8 with Bet365.

Over 5.5 Nice corners also appeals at 6/5 with the same firm given the home side should have most of the pressure.

Rosenborg vs Bodo/Glimt

Bodo/Glimt are back in the groove and will be looking to close the gap on Norwegian leaders Viking with a win at fallen giants Rosenborg tonight.

Kjetil Knutsen's men started the season poorly, winning just one of their three games, and were thrashed 5-0 by Viking on matchday two.

But they've now won six of their last seven, scoring for fun, and a win tonight would cut the gap on the leaders to just two points.

Rosenborg used to be the dominant force in Norway but they now sit second bottom and have gone eight years without winning the league.

So it's no surprise to see Bodo/Glimt as 3/5 favourites tonight and I'm going to combine the away win with over 2.5 goals at 20/21 with Bet365.

Winger Oli Blomberg scored in his last outing and looks a little overpriced at 15/8 to grab another goal for Knutsen's side tonight.

Shamrock Rovers vs St Patrick's Athletic

The top two collide in Ireland tonight as Sharmock Rovers look to open up an eight-point lead over St Patrick's Athletic.

After back-to-back defeats against Dundalk and Sligo, Shamrock Rovers got back on track by beating Bohemians 2-1 on Monday.

St Pat's haven't taken advantage of the recent Rovers wobble, with Stephen Kenny's side winning just one of their last five.

But they've also lost just once during that run and it should be a tight game tonight, which makes the half-time draw appealing at 11/10 with Bet365.

Shamrock Rovers have come out on top in the two previous meetings this season so they could also offer a bit of value at 13/10 with William Hill.
