⚽️ Sweden vs Poland

🇪🇺 World Cup Qualifying

⏰ Tuesday 31 March, 19:45

Sweden welcomes Poland to the Strawberry Arena in their World Cup playoff tie on Tuesday night, in a fixture that I’m keen to attack the low goal line.

Graham Potter’s hosts have scored seven goals across their opening seven World Cup qualifiers, with five (71%) of them coming across their last three qualifiers.

After failing to score in three of their last four qualifiers, the Blagult have found the back of the net in each of their next three – scoring three at Ukraine in their playoff semi-final tie last Thursday – and will look to breach a Poland defence that has kept a solitary shutout across their past seven qualifiers, with that coming against Lithuania.

Jan Urban’s visitors have scored 16 goals across their opening nine World Cup qualifiers, with seven (44%) of them coming on their travels.

The Eagles have found the back of the net in each of their opening nine World Cup qualifiers – notching on multiple occasions in four of their past five – and will look to find the target once again against a Sweden defence that has failed to register a shutout in any of their seven World Cup qualifiers, shipping 2+ goals in four (57%) of them.

Bet of the Day

Sweden’s opening seven World Cup qualifiers have averaged 2.86 goals per game, with six (86%) of them producing at least two strikes, whilst two of the past three have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

Poland’s opening nine World Cup qualifiers have averaged 2.67 goals per game, with each of the last eight have featured a minimum of two goals, whilst each of their last two and four of their past seven have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

Therefore, I’m happy to back the Over 2.25 Asian goal line. This would mean if there are exactly two goals scored, we will lose just half of our stake, whilst three or more strikes will reward a full payout.

  • Over 2.25 Asian Goal Line
  • Pays 9/10 (bet365)

Stats hardly stand up in big games like these, very misleading.
