Rangers will look to make ground on at least one of the top two on Sunday as they welcome Dundee to Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers finally secured their first win in the league phase of the Europa League on Thursday night as they beat Ludogorets by a goal to nil.
That’s now seven consecutive wins in all competitions for the Teddy Bears, with their 0-2 victory at Pittodrie against Aberdeen two Sundays ago making it five consecutive wins in the Premiership, leaving them just six points behind leaders Hearts and level on points with Celtic, with those two facing each other at Tynecastle at the same time.
Dundee saw their three-game winning streak in the Premiership come to an end in their last league outing, as they lost 0-1 at home to leaders Hearts despite playing the whole of the second half with a man advantage.
The Dark Blues won the derby at Tannadice in their last away match in the league, but prior to that, Steven Pressley’s men had lost seven of their previous eight road trips (W0-D1-L7) – with their solitary point in that spell coming against rock-bottom Livingston – failing to score in six of those defeats.

Danny Rohl is beginning to turn Ibrox into a fortress again, with the German boasting a W8-D2-L1 record at their Govan base – with their only loss coming against Roma in the Europa League back at the beginning of November – conceding a solitary goal across their last seven matches.
Rangers recorded a comfortable 0-3 victory at Dens Park when these two teams last met at the beginning of November, and I’m expecting the hosts to keep another clean sheet on their way to collecting all three points against their poor-travelling opponents.
