Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Italian Serie A, and I’ve come up with a selection to get the leaders on side.
⚽️ Cremonese vs Inter
🇮🇹 Serie A
⏰ Sunday 1 February, 17:00
Inter will look to strengthen their position at the top of the Serie A table on Sunday night as they travel to the Stadio Giovanni Zini to take on out-of-form Cremonese in a fixture that I’m keen to back the visitors to claim a low-scoring victory.
Inter have bounced back from their 2-2 draw at home to reigning champions Napoli by recording back-to-back 1-0 victories at home to Lecce and away at Udinese, before coming from two goals down to thrash bottom side Pisa 6-2.
Christian Chivu’s hosts have now won nine of their previous 10 Serie A encounters (W9-D1-L0), and sit five points clear of city-rivals Milan at the top of the Serie A table and nine ahead of Napoli.
Cremonese made an impressive return to the Italian top flight by winning five and losing just four of their opening 14 Serie A matches (W5-D4-L5).
However, Davide Nicola’s men head into this clash in the midst of an eight-game winless run (W0-D3-L5), failing to even score a goal in seven of those matches.

Bet of the Day
The Nerazzurri have been efficient travellers in Serie A this campaign, winning each of their last six and eight of their past nine league outings on their travels (W8-D0-L1) – with their only defeat in that run coming against reigning champions Napoli at the end of October.
Inter have conceded only two goals across those eight away victories, with all eight also featuring fewer than four goals, and a repeat appeals to me against their goal-shy hosts.
