After making it four consecutive winners in Sheffield on Thursday, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to Serie A, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Big game at the bottom of the Serie A table on Saturday afternoon as 17th-placed Genoa welcome Pisa to the Marassi in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Danielle De Rossi’s hosts have scored 17 goals across their opening 17 Serie A fixtures this season, with 13 (76%) of them coming across their last eight matches.
After failing to score in five of their opening nine Serie A fixtures of the season, The Grifone have found the back of the net in seven of their next eight – scoring two or more in five (63%) of them coming – and will be confident of breaching a Pisa backline that has yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping 2+ in six of their past seven.
Alberto Gilardino’s visitors have scored 12 goals across their opening 17 matches since promotion to the Italian top flight, with a remarkable 11 (92%) of them coming on their travels.
The Nerazzurri have found the back of the net in 6/8 (75%) of their away matches this season – notching on multiple occasions in four of their last five and seven of their past eight – and will look to continue their impressive goal-scoring record away from home against a Genoa defence that has kept just one clean sheet since the opening day of the season and none in their past 10.
