After frustratingly falling a goal short in Spain on Sunday, Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Conference League final, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection.

Crystal Palace will look to clinch their first-ever European trophy as they take on Rayo Vallecano in the Conference League final in Leipzig on Wednesday night.
Oliver Glasner’s charges have scored 26 goals across their 16 Conference League fixtures this campaign, with 13 (50%) of them coming away from home.
The Eagles have failed to score in just one of their previous 12 European encounters – scoring 2+ goals in eight (67%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Rayo defence that has kept just one clean sheet across their last six European matches away from their Vallecas base, shipping nine goals.
Inigo Perez’s men have scored 27 goals across their opening 14 Conference League contests this term, with 11 (41%) of them coming across their six road trips.
Los Franjirrojos have blanked just twice across those 14 European matches (both at home) – scoring on multiple occasions in eight of their past 13 – and will look to trouble a Palace backline that is without a clean sheet in eight matches in all competitions, as well as in each of their last four and five of their past six Conference League clashes away from Selhurst Park.
