After returning to winning ways in Sweden on Saturday, Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the European qualifiers, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Hibs will look to continue their quest for league-phase football in the Conference League on Thursday evening as they welcome North Macedonian side KF Shkendija to Easter Road in the first leg of their third-round qualifying tie in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
After finishing in fifth place in the Premiership table last term, Hibs qualified for the second round of the Conference League, but suffered an embarrassing 2-0 defeat in Kosovo against KF Malisheva in the first leg.
However, David Gray’s men sealed an impressive comeback, as they won the second leg 4-1 – on an evening all three of my selections in my match preview landed.
That positive mood around Easter Road changed three days later though, as the Hibees suffered a 1-2 defeat at home to Motherwell in their Premiership opener.
After breezing past Gibraltar side Europa FC in the first qualifying round, KF Shkendija found things tougher in the second qualifying round, as they lost their first leg in Slovenia to Bravo.
However, Artim Pollozhani’s visitors turned things around at home in the second leg, as they secured a 3-1 victory.

Hibs are favourites to take a lead over to North Macedonia next Thursday, but things are rarely ever straightforward for Scottish sides in Europe, with backing goals a much safer play.
Since the beginning of last season, the Hibees’ eight continental clashes have averaged an eye-catching 3.50 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in six (75%) of them, including in all four at Easter Road.
I’m backing that trend to continue on Thursday night as they welcome a Shkendija side that saw both teams oblige in both legs against Bravo in the previous round.
